Yeah, this is a pretty decent lil' coner of the int3rw3btoobz. I have been here for a helluva long time, longer than I care to remember. EDIT: My profile shows Decemebr 2007, but that's when the board was switched over. I was bleating my crap on here long before that.

I have been a reader of this mag for a long time but just found this forum a few months ago. I had the same experience as you Silverbrick, was just dumbfounded at how helpful and actually informative this place is. But yes, cyclists are a definite no fly zone, verboten, ixnay BTW, I have been fighting the urge to do a 740/V8 swap for about the last decade, so yeah, your car is awesomesauce!!!

This is pretty much the only forum on the Intarwebs that won't scream "THAT QUESTION HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED WHY DON'T YOU TRY SEARCHING"

I can support this. Oh, and buy Korean cars. They're awesomer than you think. Ridgelines suck. GM is awesome and .... I think that cover's the basics.

a 740 with a V8 sounds cool. Believe me a 240/V8 swap has crossed my mind more then once lol

I was around back on the old boards. At least as a lurker. I actually had a profile on it but back then I still had dial up. And between me infrequently getting to use the old dinosaur of a computer and my horrible memory I couldn't remember the password or email address password I used to create the account with. So I created the new account in 08. I post a lot more now than I did back then but I'm not sure I'm very helpful or funny. I do tend to think of this place like a family. And respect what is said here more than any other site I've ever seen on the interwebs. If I'm away for a day I start to have withdrawal symptoms. I love this place.

Basically I came for the knowledge and learning about everything in the world. And now that I know all of that I stay for trolling Ford fanbois'

Not just Volvos.. just about anything under the sun. We even like Yugos!

Well you should convert the Fit to Spec B and AutoX the Brick!!!

A new class of road racing for pint sized new cars. Welcome to the boards. I have become more lurking in the past few years then posting more. It was 01 when I found the zine and the really old boards back then and have kept the same name for that time. I can also say that I might be the only person who has had his butt in the magazine the most....no really, I was wearing pants.

B SPEC

A newly created segment of race cars called B-Spec targets the sub-compact market. Spec be sounds cool altho the fit still needs to be able to do daily driving duties. That's why i love autocross

I was thinking this when I first read that, and was confused since it already had a V8. Whoops, wrong 740, I forgot we were talking Volvos here.
