straight to the land of fraudulent insurance claims?

you just know that the owner of this called his agent and told him a story about how he drove off a 30 foot embankment when a woman pushing a stroller ran out into the road in front of him...
To much Dukes of Hazzard.
While a Trophy Truck rarely jumps that high, the General Lee does that going over a bridge.
So thats why trophy trucks don't have airbags...

I have a feeling many many beers were involved in this filming
If a redneck ever shouts out, "Hey Y'all! Watch this!" Stand back because it might be the last thing he ever does.
one of my friends- a guy that just happens to own a Raptor- seems to think that the truck isn't junk..

I don't think their junk. Where's Jav? He needs to dog me for that comment now.

i didn't say all Raptors are junk- just the one in the video.. a 30 foot vertical drop at 60mph just doesn't seem like something that Ford- or anyone- would engineer around beyond maybe keeping the occupants inside the cab so the rescue crews don't have to search the whole side of the ravine looking for the mangled bodies.

Wha? Raptor's aren't junk. I'm confused.
In reply to novaderrik:
Pretty much any factory truck could be transformed to junk by taking that jump.

Just giving you the healthy dose of E36 M3 you ordered earlier.

Well, yeah. A Jeep Cherokee 4.0 would have stuck the landing and kept going.

I would like to see a stock truck for $50K or less make either of those jumps and drive away with no driveline or suspension damage.
Yeah seriously NOTHING you can buy off the factory floor would drive away from a jump like that - that means no specialty trucks from Bowler and the like.
With a smart selection of mods and a good initial vehicle choice you might be able to mod something to do it for under $10k though.

Hey now, that is apples to oranges. The Trooper would go full speed over that ramp and land all right because it would have only been about 8 inches off the ground.
The Sidekick jump is still my favorite. NSFW for language so turn the speakers down.
Note the beer hand-off and what appears to NJ plates on the Sidekick:

Nonnnnonnnno!
Yessyesyesyessss!
Just as in road racing, if you can't afford to stuff it into a wall (berkeley it up jumping it) you shouldn't be racing it (offroading it).
