That's hilarious. I'm stealing it.
That's it, I've lost all faith in humanity. This guy emails me a dozen times this morning about getting my gokart for his kid's Christmas present. We settle on $250 and a used Lincoln SP100T welder as the price. He drives an hour down, looks at the kart, listens to it run, and says he'll take it. I live right around the corner from a gas station (which is where I had him go to for directions), and he said he was going to the ATM to get the cash. 30 seconds later I get an email that he can't buy it. WTF!!??!?!
Have some faith... maybe he E36 M3 himself on the way to the ATM and was too embarrassed to come back?
When someone says "I just have to hit the ATM"....they weren't really going to buy it anyway. UNLESS, their significant other somehow drained their card for Christmas.

Why not just say "It's not what I was looking for"? That's what I don't get. He misrepresented the welder (ran over the handle, so it needed a whole new one) and saw the kart was exactly as described (including YouBoob videos), and says "I'll take it!", shakes, and then leaves? I just don't freaking get it.
