That is going to come in handy when I want to waste an entire day.
Best guess so far:
Your guess was 1.017 km from the correct location and gave 6394 points.
I seem to get really close on a few then I go thousands of miles away on the next three.
Game finished! You got 24484 points in total.
I can't seem to nail anything 100%, there seems to be a little slop in Google Maps.
I think my worst was like 13,000km away, I guessed the south coast of Africa, and it was some strange little no name island with no actual roads in the middle of the damned ocean.
I didn't realize Botswana roads look just like Kansas roads.
EDIT: Ha! 2km off! (Uh, thanks Google maps and road sign in the distance)

BOOM!
dropped me right in front of the Lewiston public Library, which is a little over a block south from PJG Motorsports- that I saw the sign for and totally googled the E36 M3 out of.
Your guess was 0.004 km from the correct location and gave 6479 points.
This one had an Ohio highway marker and was on the border of two towns, so I just had to spend three minutes finding it on the map. In all fairness though, it was after one that was literally an ally way that I was over 10,000 miles away on.

I got 6477 at 0.005

You aren't? Come on now.... I hit a .022 right after that, gave me the head marker for Poncha Pass in Colorado.
I keep getting like 2/5 on a road with just trees. I guess 7k away. Could be anywhere
Edit, "Your guess was 16922.643 km from the correct location and gave 40 points"
Im clearly not cut out for this

LOL! I had the exact same thing happen.
Okay, Drive on right... metric system... scrubland... large roadkill on side of road... middle of nowhere... I've gotta be in Australia.
Negative. South Africa.
Dammit... Okay. This one has gotta be like Tanzania or something.
Negative. Australia.
WTF?!?
I find, after running through several times, that it's much more entertaining with a time limit and no outside resources (i.e., Google). See what kind of scores you can rack up with a 2 minute limit per location.
My best so far: 14,270. Got two tough locations in Australia - all those desert highways look the same!
Shame on you guys for using Google!
mndsm wrote: My best guess so far.... 1.73km. It dropped me in the middle of a brazilian street, and there were phone numbers on the buildings. Google took care of the rest.
I think it dropped me in that same spot. I saw Rio Grande de Norte or something like that and a coast line to the right of all the numbers on the sign. I noticed the signs were all in Portuguese and there was a E36 M3 ton of VWs. I used the mini map to zoom into the east coast of Brazil until I saw that Rio Grande spot. lol
Another interesting spot for me was on the Baja peninsula . I saw a couple of American trucks and a coast on the other side of a big body of water. One of the trucks had a E36 M3 ton on Tecate beer cases in the back. Another lol.
The Australia E36 M3 was pretty easy because of the desert looking terrain, utes everywhere, kph signs, and English signs.
First time was 10,xxx second time was 12,xxx
No googling here, just using the mini map and signs.
