So, it must be a pretty good theory since nobody seems to be able to refute anything in it with facts.

You mean like the fact that the US isn't holding everyone's gold and refusing to return it when requested? Germany just did this, and otherwise most other nations have their own "gold reserve"(Contrary to the talking box on youtube) Hell the EU combined has more than we do.

dude, you kill me sometimes. the "OMG HITLER" nearly made me wet myself.
If you really want to have fun, copy the comments into Google translate. Most seem to be centered around..... Nazis and how we lied about the number of Jews killed. Damm, I said that word. Thread over.
It is a plausible theory. He stated facts and then seamlessly blended in with his "logical conclusions".
The Wesley Clark clip, to me, is what gave it any credence, from whack job with a video editor to, "Things that make you go, 'hmmmm'"
The video is more radical and dramatic, but I've read similar comments from far less extreme sources. Stansberry & Assoc. (an investment firm) has been recommending divesting from the dollar and towards gold and other hard commodities for the last 6 months of so I've been getting stuff from them. Their reasoning echos many of the same comments regarding the dollar and the Federal Reserve. Of course, being an investment firm, they are less concerned about changing anything and more with being in a position to profit from change.

You will definitely want to get this information from a reliable, neutral source so I suggest http://www.commieblaster.com/george-soros-fund/

LOL, that was funny. Anything with a reliable source?

Take a look at this: http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=977. Hey, it even has footnotes.
BTW, some people view Soros with the same levels of skepticism and disdain as some view the Koch brothers.
As for the OP; it's an inverted pyramid of paranoia. The bottom is a pointy tip of truth with a whole lot of deadweight conspiracy theory rising above it.

Damn, that's a good visual description. Also as FS said, the Wesley Clark thing kinda raises some eyebrows.
The guy that made the video probably masterbates to V for Vendetta every night though.

We've given Germany 5 tons of the 300 tons we supposedly are holding for them. That is what happened over a one year period. The official story is that the gold bars need to be melted down and formed into standard sized bars and that the issue is that the gold smelters are too busy. Could be true or it could be that there is no gold to give back.
Oh, I don't doubt the federal reserve is corrupt or that they are not truthfully saying what is in there. Just about everything else in that video is suspect.
In reply to T.J.:
I would doubt there wasn't "any gold to give back"....plus why would Germany give a royal flying berkeley about 300 tons of it to make a big deal. Each year they report possessing just shy of 3400 tonsof it.....Which is second place in the world only to what the US claims.

Absolutely. And being that I have a hair fetish, it was AWESOME up to that point.

I don't know about you, but $600 Million is something to care about in my book.

It was a joke.

I know but it just jogged my memory to ask the question
In reply to T.J.:
Did you go purchase the entire Costco inventory of aluminum foil or are you just playing devils advocate.
You should probably be more offended by the "IMF" International Money Fund that nations pay into.....

0.0176% is not terribly high on a countries priority list. If you make $60,000/yr thats the equivalent of $10.58
Based on a GDP of Germany of $3.4 trillion
In reply to fritzsch:
But TJ could buy 2 packs of aluminum foil with that $10.58
Oh, and I agree with you fritzsch(I know, shocking right?)
