There's a Jeweler's College/School in Portland that I've toured for work and sent an ex-client to for training. He didn't finish though. I do have the contact info for the school, neat place.

You're in Tampa, and jonnyd knows someone in Orlando. That's easy....of course, other options might not be difficult.....rings are small and should be easy to ship.

If you don't mind using titanium, I HIGHLY suggest http://boonerings.com/

That's also a good suggestion. Several people from here have boonerings. I don't wear jewelry, but I like some of their designs. Heck, the their custom laser inlays will let you make anything you want

A friend of mine in Brooklyn is a jewelry designer/jeweler. I'm not sure if this is her most recent site, but here's some of her stuff. http://kimstahldesign.carbonmade.com/

Yeah, Boone made my and my wife's wedding rings. Both Black Zirconium with mokume inlays. April's is tension set with a cushion cut diamond. Good stuff. Great prices.
