Hi gang,
I'm looking for a replacement battery for my backup power for an alarm panel. Is this something that is more common and cheaper than $45 if I went to like a Chinese vape shop or something? Specs below. Thanks

I did a search on '3.7 volt battery' and found a bunch of batteries selling for much less. They were also cylindrical like yours but I didn't look far enough to see if they had the same dimensions.

Looks similar. I just don't see any others that have this info-
Technical Specifications
Volts
3.7
Watt-hour
10
Milliampere Hour
3000
or if there was anything special about that battery that would make it $45 to begin with.
I'd willingly bet somebody else's money that the battery in question is a button-top 18650. amazon sells them.
https://www.amazon.com/18650-3000mah/s?k=18650+3000mah
Given that the voltage is 3.7, capacity that's close is probably close enough. A little more is okay.
And watt/hours equals milliamp/hours times volts, divided by 1000, or in this case, 3 x 3.7 = 11.1
I guess mine is unregulated missing a little chip that prevents overcharging so it's slightly shorter than most. It is a button top 18650 but shorter by a little bit. I'll keep looking but it's definitely something online, it's just hard to search for. I guess $45 isn't as crazy as I originally thought.

What are dimensions? If 18mm wide like an 18650 I'm not finding much.

Update: I was able to find one at a Batteries Plus oddly. apparently, these are less common to keep in stock now because they were some of the batteries that would go in vapes and if they didn't have the chip to prevent overcharging, they could potentially catch fire. My alarm panel has the protection built in itself, so it's not needed with the battery. noted for next time. Thanks for the links and assist there. I was very confused that two batteries with the same part number could vary in length by a few millimeters.
