I've been restoring a Thorens TD124 for a few months. Finally looking like a turntable again and it sounds fantastic! Still a few things to do, like build an arm board so I can mount my Sony PUA-7 tone arm.

That's very cool. Lately, I've been getting more and more interested in smaller, more manageable restoration projects.
...and I'll just mention that I have around 4500 albums, just in case there's something you're looking for.

I have an SL 1200 as well. For just enjoying records, that may be the best table ever made. I once heard an analogy that an SL 1200 is a better turntable than a TD124 in the way a Camry is a better car than a 60s Ferrari. I'd say that's pretty much right. I absolutely love this Thornes, but if I had to get to work on time, I'd pick the Technics.

One of my many Thrift Store scores!

This has been a very satisfying project. Can do it indoors at the kitchen table with a couple of screwdrivers and a pair of pliers. Total spent is less than the Kaaz 2 way I bought for the Celica.

I don't have them catalogged yet, still working on sorting & pricing them all. Tons of old country, a fair amount of classic & 80's rock/pop. An absurd quantity of weird 50's/60's pop/orchestra. There's quite a bit of spiritual, choral, classical, etc. I also have a few hundred 45's and 78's too.
