i can stomach jalopnik. if i'm bored and marooned at work i'll stop over. gawker is just pure garbage though. besides that, more liberal than i can force myself to read.

I should clarify that when I talk about Gawker, I speak of all of the Gawker Media Group sites, especially Jalopnik, Gizmodo and Lifehacker. I used to really enjoy those three sites.
Then they got extremely greedy and went for the lowest common denominator, pushing their best writers and editors out or putting the screws to them. Add to this a site hacking where user data was exposed, which they did very little about. A site redesign that was atrocious and has not gotten much better and you've got the steaming pile that it is now.
I loove Hooniverse (especially secret ninja claws)
