I see what this is all about. Fine. I'm tired of fighting to keep the secret. Fine.

Conspiracy theorist nutjobs always tickle me. Wall-E hit the nail on the head exactly, there just isn't enough competence to keep thousands of faceless government agents completely silent about sweeping secret activities happening behind the scenes.
"How do you know this KyAllroad?" Because I'm one of them, and it just doesn't work that way.
And I still can't convince my idiot cousin that chemtrails aren't a thing.....shrug.

I work in DC and lets just say, if the government was as capable and competent and getting large conspiracys done as the nutjobs claim, lots more would get done!
The only "conspiracy" stuff really going on at sweeping levels is corporate money and media influencing less intelligent voters.

Can I borrow a couple bucks?
For a while I was working by Battery Park and I had a couple of nuts convinced that instead of restoring the Statue of Liberty Reagan repaneled it in plastic and sold the copper to the Chinese to fund the defeat of the Soviets. It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling seeing the twinkle in their eyes know something the rest of the world didn't.

FTFY
That isn't a conspiracy theory - it's how the world works.
In reply to KyAllroad:
That's possible, or maybe I just seen like a bumbling incompetent fool who can't get the buses to run on time so people think everything is this dysfunctional.

You are holding up pretty well for a guy born in 1932. Does that have anything to do with ancient Tibetan secrets of youth? What do you know?
KyAllroad wrote: And I still can't convince my idiot cousin that chemtrails aren't a thing.....shrug.
Of course airplanes are leaving trails of chemicals in their wake as they fly across the sky. Water is a chemical compound.
I know/knew a guy - haven't seen him in years - that is deep into the chemtrails thing. He used to self publish a news magazine called Trancendental Times. He had a time machine. He said it allowed you to travel into the future. Turn it on in your car and drive 50mph exactly for an hour and you'll actually cover 55 miles.

Tire Rack sells those but you have to know the secret code to get the correct devices. Depending on the code used (30, 35, 40, 45, etc.) you can even slow down time.
But in all reality, you can watch interviews with Larry Silverstein where he says he told the FDNY to "pull it" ie, collapse the building.
Any explanation on how the FDNY wired up a 55 story building for controlled demolotion, while on fire, in less than a day?

Or maybe, just maybe, "pull it" as in "pull the plug" and quit firefighting operations trying to save the building and use those resources to protect other structures that weren't as far gone? It's a concept called triage in other circles.
I know a guy - he's a little out there, but otherwise normal - who is utterly convinced the entire 9/11 thing was a premeditated, controlled demolition made to look like a terrorist attack.
I once tried to amuse myself by calculating how much of whatever mystery compound you'd need if you wanted to actually pull off the chemtrail conspiracy. It turned out to be in the range of several tons of chemicals per square mile, and chances are you'd have to re-apply it on a daily or weekly basis. Sometimes it can be entertaining to pretend to be The Conspiracy and imagine what they'd have to deal with to actually pull it off.
Back to the original question - I'd think anyone searching for your name who found their site and didn't think, "OK, this is a bunch of crackpots who hate this guy for crackpot reasons" is not worth worrying about, unless you need to get a restraining order against them.

This. We've had our share of hate before from crazies. Walk on. Do your thing. Hold your head up. The great thing about crazy people is that they just can't stop being themselves, and people can tell the difference between whacked and normal. Well, any people you want to associate with... so consider it a handy culling tool for removing undesirables from your life.

Anyway he went and posted the names, job descriptions, emails & contact details of our entire department on his dumb blog, including mine. He even went and highlighted the name of one of my friends, a 25-year-old grad student who he believes is one of the inner cabal of the conspiracy (hint: she isn't) and suggested his vapid followers harass her too. To be honest I'm not particularly worried for myself about being threatened or even contacted by any of this lunatic's "fans", but I am rather annoyed that googling the name I publish scientific papers under will now show a result on his insane truther website. The point of this post is, if you have an inkling towards "truther" lines of thinking and conspiracy theories or rhetoric, and think somehow you have secret knowledge that millions of professional scientists & researchers have conspired to cover up, and you need to EXPOSE their TREACHERY blah blah blah ... just, don't. Stop. You're not an expert. Shut off Alex Jones, close the fifty browser windows of Breitbart, go get a beer or something and chill out. Realize that if you think millions of people are WRONG and you're the ONLY ONE who knows the TRUTH, you ... probably don't know what you're talking about at all. Don't try to damage people's lives over your delusions. That's a bad place. (And YES, legal action is being taken about this, and no, I'm not particularly involved, and I can't comment on it in a public forum.) (Also note: I've made this post intentionally vague as possible but if for some reason you know what this is about or know the website in question please DON'T clarify or link it here. Or, anywhere really. This bozo needs all the ignoring he can get.)
this sounds an awful lot like something someone would say... IF THEY DID DO IT!!!!!!!!!!
coincidence? i think not...

Only someone looking for a reason to believe it was demolished on purpose would think "pull it" referred to setting off explosives. That doesn't make sense, objectively.
In reply to z31maniac:
Once everyone was evacuated from the building they stopped fighting the fire and let it burn itself out. They learned that eventually a floor will fail and pancake the building like the other towers but it takes longer. Of it was going to blow up why wait all day and why ask the fire dept to do? Of course 15 years on no one is changing an opinion but there are facts and reports from actual people that investigated in person instead of using second hand info from the web.

I'll second that motion... It's considered a badge of honor here at work. A few people have collected the rantings off the voicemail system as their badges. I lost my most recent one when we swtiched phone systems :(
I'm just a low level cog in this machine, though, he "knew" that I had a good heart and was just trying to help, but the problem is I'm working for a horrible monster of a person. Note that the owner of the company quite literally one of the nicest/most helpful to society people I know. It's sickening how many people take advantage of him just because he has the means and will help out anyone who needs it.

That's pretty much verbatim what I tell people when they ask me if my DeLorean can really travel through time.

That's what they want you to think.
I think he runs the FEMA Camp in Lubbock, about a mile from my office.
In reply to slantvaliant:
I have a coworker who is a big Jade Helm FEMA camp fan and also anti Trump because he's a tool for Hillary. One day he was going on about how there's no way to deport 11 million people back to Mexico. I suggested using some of the FEMA Death Trains to roll them back down there. It's been months and he still hasn't decided whether it's a brilliant plan or far too insane even for him.
