Band called slaughter to prevail. Russian deathcore. Destroyer is a good track if that's your thing.

True story- I almost got thrown out of a speech class in high school for using this song during a lip sync project. I forgot the correct cd the day it was due, and this was the only song I knew that I had on me, that didn't have swears in it.
Wo Fat - Midnight Cometh:
I think maybe some Dopesmoker next.
I told you I had the office to myself.
King Crimson - Dig Me:
Ode to an abandoned Studebaker in a junk yard.
I'm happy that Fripp finally relented and allowed King Crimson stuff to be streamed. I understand his reluctance and willingness to fight about it, but I'm grateful to be able to listen online.

I've had that song and "What's So Funny (About Peace Love and Understanding)" competing for space in my head for months.

Hearing this song, and seeing the video, reminds me of that "too tired to sleep" feeling, because MTV always played it at about 3am on weeknights.
Listening: So i bought the god mode car in late 2017. In early 2018, I got the license plate to reflect this.
Later in 2018, the Gothsicles (from 2003's hit song "Konami Code") released a new song for their 20th anniversary album. Coincidence? PROBABLY
Unassailable from ammo and impervious to shrapnel

Had a moment. Towards the end, there is a sample "I love you, Dr. Zaius!"
A long time ago, when The Simpsons was relevant, they had a bit where they were at a Planet of the Apes musical, and the Really Bad Musical had a bit where they were singing 'Dr. Zaius" to "Amadeus". So the video game nerd genre group covered a legit song in a legit way but had to add their nerd cred by incorporating a reference to another genre that was itself referencing something and I think I just nerdgasmed.
The berkeleyed up part: For no reason at all, the past week I have been thinking "Doctor Zaius Doctor Zaius (...) oh, oh, oh Doctor Zaius" stuck in my head in some berkeleyed up loop.
I only know about The Gothsicles' Amadeus cover because it was a related video to IDDQD after I posted it this morning. I only know about the IDDQD because it was a search hit when I was searching for Konami Code last night, when SWMBO was talking about their son's chinesium video game controller that had an Easter Egg if you entered the Konami Code (up up down down left right left right B A Select Start)
When you think of a plate of shrimp, and someone says "plate" or "shrimp" or "plate of shrimp", was it because you were thinking it, or were you thinking it because they were going to say it?
I have a pandora channel of mostly Robert Earl Keen going in the office the past couple days. It's not as popular in here as i think it should be but I'm enjoying which is all that really matters.
SWMBO and Youngest Cousin are both having very bad days due to emotional stress. Nothin' I can do about it but wait for them to be able to talk about it.
I'm listening to my generator. A tornado missed my house by about a hundred feet today.
This is about a hundred yards away from my house, but it got a lot closer than where I took the picture from.
Beasties - Off The Grid:
The In Sound From Way Out and The Mix-up are actually my two favorite Beasties albums.
