My wife hates this song. On the other hand I find it very accurate.
And these guys are a great cover band. I actually like their covers a lot better than their originals.
We went to our first Quinceanera last night (our oldest granddaughter who has Puerto Rican heritage on her mother's side). It was much fun and lots of great music. So we're in the mood for more tonight with the Gypsy Kings. Son Jason has twin daughters who will have their own Quinceaneras in two years. It's like funding a wedding. Poor bastard.
(Well no. He's not poor and definitely not a bastard. He's our son and can well afford it.) 😁
Annie and me with the party girl. (And yeah, she's eating a doughnut)!
It's a dead guy weekend, sorry for not posting videos this time.
Townes Van Zandt, Layne Stayley, Peter Steele, John Prine, Kurt Cobaine, and Lowell George.
I'm late to the game on it, but I've really been enjoying Doechii's "Alligator Bites Never Heal" album lately
I keep waking up to "Lost in Space" by Foster the People. Full fidelity, just... playing up there in my brain. It doesn't stop until I fall asleep. Seriously, it's been playing for like 3 weeks. Somebody help.
The reason it probably won't stop anytime soon is because I can't stop listening to the Audible series, Expeditionary Force, by Craig Alanson. If I could put that audio book series down for like 4 minutes, I could rock out to Lost in Space at maximum volume and put the song to rest for a bit. But I can't. It's too good.
In reply to Nicole Suddard :
The inflection and cadence on the line "What should Doechii do?" is a little bit of brilliance.
I can't believe this thread was on page 3. But here I am to elevate it.
And I'm doing some Friday late afternoon drinking.
(That would be Tito's vodka with a home-grown Meyer lemon).
One of these, but I don't know which one:
Earth Wind and Fire. Best of the early 70s Disco era. Phenomenal musicians.
Wife's out of town, 110db @ 16 feet. with zero distortion at all.

Duke was the driver of this thread, but since he's retired he's not been posting here as much
How's the garage coming?
Middle of my later life almost 70 mid life crisis, getting ready to go under the knife for cataract surgery. I can't help but plug for my favorite Bass solo performance. RIP Chris Squire.
Because I can when Mrs Heretic is away: 110db with "no distortion at all"
