Lyle Lovett: Step Inside This House
It's an early Guy Clark song, possibly the first song Guy Clark ever wrote. But it's been said that he didn't really like it, and consequently never recorded it. Lyle Lovett liked it, recorded it, and it's one of my favorites performed by him. There are a lot of live Lyle Lovett videos of this song out there, but this is a studio version, and forces you to listen to Guy's lyrics. I don't understand why he didn't like his own song.
Jim Morris - Contrary to Ordinary...
Trop Rock musician who passed away a few weeks ago from an aneurysm. SWMBO & I have seen him at least 25 times. He did a lot of Jerry Jeff Walker covers among others and also wrote and performed his own songs.
Just gotta live your life in episodes...

Just awaiting a couple of album releases:
RWBY Volume 3 soundtrack/score...the RWBY soundtracks are AWESOME.
Magical Mirai 2016 album preordered, specifically because of this one song and a new pair of headphones that will soon be coming in...
Hatsune Miku - Sann Kyuu Music
Can't wait for the actual CD's so I can properly hear the music and get its full impact. Because FLAC rips from CD played back through DAC and headphone amp with a favorite pair of headphones is sublime. Youtube is like listening through a tin can with string and having cotton stuffed in your ears in comparison...
In reply to Chadeux:
Thanks for the earworm
The video reminds me of two different very-80s things. Devo's "Beautiful World", and Weird Al's "Dare to the Stupid".
Getting stuck in a YouTube-hole brings me to this:

Never knew there was a video for this song. It's like the 80s were compressed into a single music video. Then someone watched that video and made this one.

Damn Honda ads (occupational hazard, I work in TV and get earwigs every week.) My favorite from the band, but can't help notice the irony that the verses are actually about making bad decisions. Old pop song
In reply to Hungary Bill:
I saw LeDoux at a bar in El Paso way back in '85. Took me several years to find some of his recordings, but he made an impression and I persisted so now I have most of his albums...
One of my favorites...

PF: Hey You / On the Turning Away
Great PF live double performance of two of my favorites. This was done in the nineties. David Gilmour (who had more hair than now, albeit shorter and lighter color compared to the seventies) on lead guitar and vocals, and old-car guy (before he became an old car-guy) percussionist Nick Mason (middle name "Berkeley." Heh, heh ... he said berkeley). Really good drummers are hard to find. Nick is one of them. This is good stuff.
(Typical PF light show performance. They pioneered it).
Driving to work this morning, this song popped in my head. I used to love catching it on the radio back in San Antonio on a cool night with the windows down
