It’s a family tradition to use car names, first, middle, and car part mfg names too. I know most of the US market passenger car names but I’m wondering what kinds of other names are out there, racing pedigree -particularly rally- a plus, though clearly not necessary (Avalon TRD someday??).
Current list of boy names:
hudson
jensen
mclaren
girl:
mallory (ignition systems)
avalon
mclaren
if we have boy/girl twins I’m pushing for lancer & lancia
One of my friend's moms is named Celica.
"Martin" is a family middle name, so I ever-so-briefly considered "Aston Martin" (Kazoo last name).
Consideration ended when the idea was discussed with Mrs. Kazoo.

Mercedes? Lexus? Infiniti?
I mean.....they were all babies once.
Edsel. And if it's a boy then: Fairlane, Squire, or Super Deluxe.

Outlander
so one day if he meets the children of the corn they can yell "OUTLANDER, WE HAVE YOUR WOMAN"
Mercedes. The car name actually came from a woman's name, not the other way around.
Portia - the"t" is pronounced like a "sh".
One name Mrs. Mad Scientist and I considered was "Kelsey". Not obviously a car reference, but there's the Kelsey-Hayes Corporation, which built a lot of OEM wheel and brake systems.
Shelby.
Lucas.
Daily Turismo recently had a rant on why Cressida is a girl's name you probably don't want to use.
Holley.
Enzo.
Some possible English car names include Bristol and Elva. A recent issue of Classic Motorsports noted that Elva came from the French words for "She goes," but it's also the feminine form of the name Elvis. My grandmother was named Elva.
Not European, but I couldn't resist:
Camaro (or for extra bonus points: Crammit)

Cooper
Geoff and John, if you're a fan of Top Gear/Grand Tour
I've thought about writing up a list of all of the pets with car names that I've treated.

What about car parts instead of brand/model names?
Something like Cam(eron) perhaps?

This is my 4 month old daughter's name - I'm pretty sure my wife still doesn't know where i got it.
Here's some from behind the iron curtain for ya:
Zsiguli (pronounced Jee-goo-lee with a soft "j" there at the beginning) is how the Lada 1200 is referred to in Hungary.
Trabi (instead of Trabant)
Stasys Brundza was a famous Soviet rallye driver from Lithuania (He drove a Lada VFTS)
Zapo (instead of "Zaporozsec"), which I affectionately call "The Corvairski"
Csajka (Pronounced "ch-eye-kah". two syllables) Also known as the GAZ13
Volga
Skoda
Isetta (the BMW. I always thought that would be a cool girls name)
Simson is an east german motorcycle manufacturer.
Barkas
Maruti
