In light of the show us your garage thread, I might finally get around to tackling some long overdue tarting up of my garage.
I've got a couple of old metal cabinets, some faded tool boxes and some heavy duty shelves that could all do with some form of paint. What do the great minds of grm suggest?
A few options that have crossed my mind are hammertone paint, bed liner and to a lesser extent Plasti dip. I like the look forward wrinkle paint, but so far can't seem to find it in larger quantities than rattle cans.

I can't see chalk board standing up to the rough and tumble of garage duties, but I do have a rattle can of chalk board paint that could be used for painting some small panels on things allowing for easy labelling and relabelling which could be handy
