Mario Kart!
The start of another awesome BMX build!
For my son we went all out and got him a Tama drum set (it was used but it's still pretty bitchin'). We also got together with his mother and her husband to present him a trip to Camp Woodward next summer. That one he was REALLY surprised about.
A cool long sleeve Boston Bruins shirt, Bruins sweatshirt, Bruins hard cover book about their championship season this year called " Full 60 to History", Socks (love new socks!!), and a few other small things. Can you see a theme here?
Socks, other clothes, shaving cream, and some gift cards were the only new things that I got. Otherwise it was all bought at estate sales...
Which means that I got a pretty bitchin' set of mostly made in USA Craftsman tools, about 99% of everything I'll need for probably the next 5 years. It is really awesome stuff.
Oh, and the girlfriend got me an awesome Bulova watch.
Becaused the kid's not coming home we cut our budget in half, saving half for a weekend away.
I got her really nice cowboy boots and some jewelry, I got a 36" breaker bar (mine walked) and an aviation radio.
Merry Christmas.
Awesome! Hope you're all having a great holiday!
My wife Denise even got Tom Celica a present. He finally has a proper mustache.
Got some for the e21, urethane steering rack bushings, hazard switch, intake rubber kit and the big one is a cis fuel injection pressure test kit but it's lost in the mail.

Nah, I did all mine at the grocery store Gift cards and chocolate FTW.
There were several smaller gifts under the tree, but my two major ones were
From my parents: They had a friend who remodels houses install six of the 4' fluorescent lights and five outlets (on two separate breakers) in my garage so it will be easier to work longer hours in the garage.
From my sister's family: a gun safe for my toys. (this was the culmination of a "treasure hunt" in which I traipsed all over the house looking for rhyming clues. More details on that later)

I got a torque wrench, die grinder and screw driver set from there.
Awesome stuff guys- I think I just added some "after Christmas" gifts for me to my list. We're flying out to visit friends in CA here in just a bit. Will be nice to get out of the snow. Safe travels if you're going anywhere and hope you all have a great rest of the holiday season!
My step-mother bought my wife a Nikon Coolpix and I got a box of my old toys from when I was a kid. Really? Where's the damn Christmas rum...
Winnipeg Jets jersey, the "Highway of Heroes" book by Pete Fisher, Mechanix gloves, a shearling lined hoody, Montreal Canadiens winter hat, and a T-shirt that says "The Answer is Always Miata" .
Let's see....a 3 set of Craftsman vise grips, 1/4 socket set that I have already (doh! needed metric!), Craftsman shop vac, some other stuff and.......a subscription to GRM!
I got a couple Craftsman giftcards, some flannel shirts, a Vintage Coca-Cola tshirt, the new Steven King book, one of Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld books, a book on Phraseology, a Best Buy gift card, a couple dvds, a Samsung Smart TV Blu-Ray player (its actually pretty cool), cologne, and an Xbox Game.
I got the wife some nail polish and a laptop.
Rolling tool chest, a portable instant water heater, a welding cart, and a drill doctor.
Spent a couple of hours today with the kids building and playing with their go-kart.
All in all, a good day.

lol OK, so my wife totally surprised me!
We went to her sister's house for dinner, and there in the Garage was my REAL Christmas Present.
A Craftsman 4 drawer bottom chest and a 5 Drawer top chest :) Pictures to follow.
My wife rocks.
Actually my brother in law went and picked it up at Sears after my wife paid and then they wrapped it and hid it in the Garage. EVERYONE knew even my 3 kids and knew. My 6 year old daughter almost spilled the beans a couple of times but was able to hold it together until i opend it. Then she said "now that you know about it, is not longer a secret, right"? I said yes it is no longer a secret, she said, "good, I almost couldn't not talk about it any more".
Woot!
Wifey bought me
Wifey's parents got me some shirts, a gameboy game, cash, and a metric tonne of barnes and noble gift cards, plus a decent gift card to Best Buy.
