Beer bread. The simplest recipe I've ever seen besides "Boil water. Add noodles. Wait till soft enough to eat. Drain and eat."
One bottle beer, two cups of flour, one teaspoon baking powder. Mix with hands. Pinch of salt. Put into well-buttered pan, IIRC 350deg for 45min or something like that.
Guinness gives it a rich nutty flavor.
It's so simple even I can make it!
i think i will make this, i have a can of guinness draught that I cant drink...
What is the utimate bachelor food?
Nobody said Bachelorettes?
1 b. sauteed burger, 1 can pork & beans, 1 can irish potatoes from a can, no spice. Boring but filling.

+1 for the column
And I stopped tonight to get some tortillas. Little scrambled eggs on the tortillas. Little leftoover sausage casserole. Should be a good breakfast. My friend Ben who gave me the recipe was mad at himself for not thinking of it.

Pizza has been excluded but no one said anything about tomato pie. I just had a piece of catfish over a piece of tomato pie for lunch.
Tomato pie?
Basically it's Sicilian Pizza in square form without the cheese on it.
Looks like as follows:

I said CAN, bottles are fine
I have some... uh... interesting cousins. They unwrap the brick of Ramen, sprinkle the seasoning on, and start eating it. The crunching sounds are gross.

My young nephew does much the same thing.
I don't think he's right in the head.

berkeley the both of you, I used to do that, but I normally put a slice of American cheese on it too.
I did that quite a while. It's like a giant block of cracker. And what's wrong with a can of Guinness? That needs to be poured off anyway.
Maybe a block of Ramen soaked in Guinness?
I made the bread, i think the temp (350) was too low, unless it is suposed to turn into a mush brick with crispy coating
Did you let it cool completely?
(I never do... I mean fresh hot bread is one of those big temptations easily succumbed to)
Hormel Chili + Fritos + Cheese + Mustard + Jalapenos.
Tadaaaaa....
Hot dogs. Its hard to screw them up.
