Serious questions here, I might be using this for a project. What is your favorite late night food? Some of you might have to think back to college for this, but after a night of drinking, what do you want to eat the most? Was there anything that you wish was available but couldn't get? How much would you pay for such a thing, if at all?
For instance, I would really like a grilled cheese with bacon, tomato, and fried onion. I'd probably pay up to $5.00 for this after a night at the bars, but its not available. I also like the obvious pizza, but it gets old.
How about you folks?
Cereal. My kick now is friggin Golden Crisp. I LOOOOOVE that E36 M3. LOL The urge kicks in at about 11:30pm or so when I'm watching Adult Swim, gotsta have my cereal, then I can sleep.
Scrambled aggs: Denver omlet.
Taco Bell Tacos!
in LA: Barney's Beanery Burgers.
That was 20+ years ago. Now, no drinking, and it's popcorn or corn beef hash with bacon and tomatoes.
Taco Bell's too far away...
french fries. Pounds and pounds of french fries.
Or sweet potato fries.

Grilled cheese, quesadilla, taco bell, basically anything with hot cheese.
White Castle - 2 double burgers, a chicken ring, and an onion petal
Waffle House - a bacon, egg and cheese sandwhich on white toast, and an order of hashed browns with chili and cheese.
either accompanied by by a cold whatever-is-left-in-the-cooler...Ive washed those meals down with Zima and wine coolers before (since the girls always pass out early, and we are left drinking whatever the lightweights failed to finish). Ive paid as much as $20 for a ride to and from either fine upstanding establishment.
2nd the hot cheese.
Nachos with fresh jalapenos, not canned.
Omlettes with lots of cheese and fresh jalapenos.
Got to be hot both ways.
After a night of heavy drinking I crave funyons. Also, Taco Bell. Especially the loaded french fries they discontinued years ago.
Late night- cereal. Don't know why, I just always have a bowl of cereal before I go to bed.
After a night of drinking- the most unhealthy thing I can find. Usually ends up being French fries from a fast food joint, an egg and cheese burrito I make here (emphasis on the cheese).
Or one of those 1/2 pound microwaveable Philly Cheese Steak Hot Pockets. Now THOSE bring back some memories of college! Well, only the memories of some nights, not all
Taco Bell and Waffle House.
Frozen pizza and cookies seem to get made pretty often with my drunk friends.
Gravy fries from Nectar's in Burlington. Not only are they filling, you can get them at the walk up window and the container helps keep your hands warm as you stumble home.
Tacos and burritos nachos
So come to the Mitty and get your drink on !

Another vote for White Castle. There's one three blocks from my house, which is handy.

Cheeseburger Gabage Plate, mac salad and home fries from Nick Tahou's. It's about 3 minutes from my office and 10 minutes from the campus of University of Rochester and maybe 15 from RIT. Not open at night anymore sadly - back in the 80s and early 90s in addition to the food there was pretty much anything else you wanted available from the dealers and whores who ate on one side, the college kids ate on the other side.

Second choice - Mighty Taco, Buffalo. 2 Mighties, soft shell, hot, chips and cheese, large loganberry. 4-6 nights a week senior year of high school and that summer before college. Used to be $3.65, now about $7.
Since i live in the middle of nowhere, I couldn't go out for late night food even if I wanted to.
Peanut butter and toast has been doing the trick for almost 50 years
Tacos. Not Taco Bell, though. I want quality ingredients even if I'm drunk.
Either that or a diner-ish place that has decent coffee and won't rush me when I try to have a conversation with someone.
My favorite late night munchies have been from out of the country, fish and chips in England, and poutine from French Canada...
