I finally got bit by the bug and picked up my first new LEGO set in years, thanks Costco for the impulse buy. Now I am thinking of picking up another one of the F1 cars to go with my Ferrari and looking through the rest of the LEGO catalog.
Does anyone else still enjoy putting together LEGO sets? What should I pick up next and what have you built recently?
A year or two ago, I got the Lego bug . This was before the official F1 Lego releases, so I bought some knockoff Temu "legos"
I'll have to post a picture when I get home.
I can't remember which one was the most recent one I built, though I know I recently finished the Williams version of that set, as well as a few of the Botanical sets.
The FW14B is on my wishlist, but I don't know how much longer I can wait for it.

I'm so behind on my Lego set builds...not sure which one I want to start, but hoping to start building some again soon. I really want to build the batmobile one I bought for myself first though
My girlfriend and I just finished the NES
She got me the Delorean but we haven't started that one yet.

I really want the Delorean. Every time I see it at the store I want to take it home but then I look at the price tag and decide I will wait till it goes on sale.
My favorite part is that I managed to get my wife hooked on the Lego Botanicals, but I get to assemble them.

I kill every plant I touch. So the Lego Botanical collection was my boyfriend's solution to me wanting plants. I have the Orchid, Bonsai tree and I want the Chrysanthemum next haha.

My nephew gave this to me for Christmas a couple of years ago. I'd forgotten all about it until I stumbled into the box a week or two ago. I enjoyed assembling it and it didn't take anywhere near 6+ years...
I've got the BMW M 1000R Technic kit about 1/4 built sitting under the bar, haven't touched it in almost 3 years. Planning on starting it back up this evening since I don't go back to work until Monday and the fiance and dogs will be out of the house until then as well.

Assisting (not building it for him) the 5 year gold's Baby Mario and Luigi set. Yes, Luigi is rockin g a Morgam-esq 3 wheeler.
You just reminded me that I have a LEGO kit that is meant to be a Buggati Veyron or some such when done. Probably will re-git it cause as much as I love puzzles, not a LEGO person.

They aren't LEGO branded and there are a few different companies that make them. Including the motorcycles.
It's too bad, because all the instructions for the light kits assume you've already built it, and have to go back and take pieces back apart to install. If you really spent the time, I'm sure you could compare the manuals and put the lights in as you go. I've got the light kit on the Ducati and a few others.
I haven't started building the other ones yet because I want to wait until I get display cases for them. The VW Van and 911 RSR look pretty rough from me not staying on top of keeping them dusted.
