I searched for an old thread and when I clicked on it, it came up full-width!

I don't know what to do with myself. Is this for real?

Not on my screen. Were you looking at an archived post?

I pulled up the tactical bacon thread, and since then everything, including this thread, is full screen width. The whole website is in a slightly different format. The only thing that looks glitchy that I've noticed is quotes within threads don't show up right. I don't know what's going on, but I like it :D

I tried your tactical bacon thread patch, with no change. I think you broke your computer.

There was two links, you gotta click on the one that has a weird address in it.

Works for me! Just add "m." (without quotes) in between the http:// and grassrootsmotorsports. I noticed the name of the last poster in a thread is not displayed in the Mirror GRM-niverse. No biggie.

No avatars. And kinda hard to follow, the name/date runs into the post for me.

So basically what was found is the mobile device link?

And as much as everyone decries the new look ... I've grown use to it and even kinda like it. That's on a tiny netbook with only a 1024x600 screen ... so all you with 17" - 21" monitors are just being whiny ... I'm rolling on 10", yo!

That's our top-secret Bizarro site. Okay, not really, it's just the mobile site for mobile Internet devices.

Where have you been hiding? All us cool iPhone OS folks have been on the mobile site for, like, YEARS. Or something.

And I never had a problem with it either, even on a 17" monitor. I think it's fine.

I have to say, the new forum look was pretty painful on a mobile device, but m.grassrootsmotorsports.com is just about perfect.

Ok...I've been wanting to ask this for a while. It's somewhat of a threadjack, but I bet it gets answered here.

On the old board, when someone linked (posted) photos into a post, they would automatically resize to fit my screen. Now, it won't do that.

If I want to see the right half of a large picture, my only option is to right click, options, copy address, paste address into navigation bar, etc, etc, ad naseam.

Any way I can just get the browser to resize the photos in the forum/thread window?

Thanks, Clem

Clem, what browser are you using? There's code in place to resize 'em, but older browsers (like IE 6) may not get the memo.

It's IE, but I don't know what version (or how to tell).

That's undoubtedly the problem, though.

If it looks the same as it has for years, it's IE6. 7 and 8 both look a lot different, so you'd know. You may want to give Firefox or Chrome or something a whirl. They're free, faster and have more features than IE.
