I vote PT. The taillight is up high enough on those to be just out of frame to the top left. Also, the lower rear fascia line looks right.

I said PT, and I'm going to stick with it. The rear bumper cover comes in at the right spot, the back door (the five door is pictured) line looks right, the purple looks right, the little stick-on trim whatsit looks right. It's cropped just enough to exclude the distinctive fender design and taillight.

I agree. And if I ever get my answer from the owner, I'll share that info here.
I was just standing next to a PT cruiser, with my phone in my hand looking at this picture to compare, it's the closest match that I've seen.
really?.. two days and still not identified. This should have taken 5-10 min at the most. If it were a 59 Lloyd LP 600 someone would have got it in 20 seconds.

Haha. That's what I thought. I figured the firts reply would be "miata" with a smiley. The second and third replies woukd have been the right answer, and the fourth would say " chevy Blazer".
In reply to DrBoost:
I'll have to retract my statement. It appears to be a PT Loser. Mike called it within a few hours. My faith in GRM has been restored.
