I know (mostly due to military service) I'm an insane mix of everything, but no matter what I do I can't shake my upbringing of a downeast Maine (New England) accent.
I'm also very versed in Mazda and BMW language as well

I work with a guy from Florida who actually uses that word more than Samuel L. Talking to him is like an auditory version of a magic eye picture. You know there's a message in there somewhere, but you have to filter through so much profanity that gleaning even a hint of what's there feels like an achievement.
As for my own accent, it depends on who I am talking to. Born in England means I subconsciously get British if faced with a British, Australian, or South African accent. Much of my youth being spent in East Tennessee means when presented with a strong country accent, I could be mistaken for a redneck by anyone not from the particular holler in question. A college education and a youth spent bathed in the homogenizing medium of TV means I can be as bland a Midwesterner as any one could ask for if I can't identify a predominant accent in the conversation.
TL:DR- I speak English and 'Murrican.
I usually have a fairly neutral "'Merican" accent, unless I'm around a lot of southerners, in which case some drawl might accidentally sneak out
And Arabic.
Southern New Jersey has a fairly benign accent. Much different than our NY and Philly Neighbors. As my first couple of years were spent in Spain and my English Grandmother was always around when I was little, I constantly get "where are you from?" no matter where I go.
The "where are you from" reminds me of Eddie Izzard's vacuum cleaner bit...
Where exactly are you from with that accent? I'm from KENT, man!
I'm pretty neutral. I should have a central/western PA accent, but its pretty straight up pure english for me.
n'at.
I got a lot of the where are you from when I was in high school. Uh, the same berkeleying place you are man
Nobody asked me where I was from when I moved south, guess I just sounded like one of them

Imagine my disappointment to finally meet an Aussie and not hear Crocodile Dundee.

How many of them think you're British?
