It happens all the time, a movie car gets destroyed that you absolutely love, but what car stands out for you? Provide a picture in case someone hasn't seen the movie.
Mine is the Jeep J10 Honcho from Twister. I love J10s and hope to one day own one, but I always hate watching the movie truck drop from the sky and land on it's roof. They could have destroyed something a little less rare.
Mad Max's Falcon gets rolled over in the 2nd movie, I cried
The three Minis being pushed out of the bus at the end of The Italian Job.
Don't watch the original Gone in 60 Seconds. They... break a few cars... to say the least.
the lambo. into the front end loader at the start of The Italian Job
Another Italian Job victim. Aston Martin DB5 convertible
As a younger person, the Casino Royale wrecking of a DBS. The hardest part is knowing that is wasn't a dressed up Aston to look like a DBS, the director wanted it to be super real and wrecked 9, IIRC, of the expensive versions to get the one scene.

Ferris Bueller. I know its a fake, but it still hurts to watch.

Eleanor, getting crushed at the end of "Gone in 60 Seconds". Makes me feel sick.

I want to like Eleanor... but to me it just looks um... overdone or something. A trans-am racer mustang getting crushed may make me shed a tear though.

The Italian Job is full of gorgeous cars getting destroyed. Note also:
Lamborghini Miura
And Jaguar E-type

The "Aston" that goes over the cliff was actually a re-bodied Lancia of some sort. I've heard the real Aston and at least one of the Jags got restored...
The "Miura" that gets destroyed in that movie was just a shell from Lambo bolted to an already-wrecked chassis the crew had gotten their hands on. You can see there's no engine in it and a bunch of the glass is missing if you pause the film. The one used for driving was safe and sound.
I don't lament seeing Beckerman's sunglasses get destroyed at the end of that segment. Good god those things are ugly.

BJ Barracas' van in A-Team.
OK, no love for the van, but it was fun to hate watching it get squished.

Not having seen the A-Team movie, I still wonder if that shouldn't be BA instead of BJ?

Yeah, even though I love the movie I hated seeing those cars destroyed. Funny how the last 3 letters of the Jag's tag are CRY.
There was a crappy TV detective show called 'Matt Huston' which showed an E type getting flipped end over end in the 'lead up'. The first time I saw that I could not believe it.
The destruction of the Mad Max Falcons get me where I live, too.

There is an old movie called Massacre at Central High (or something like that). They blew up a 66 Shelby. The movie is old enough that it was probably real.
just watched the new Walking Tall again and love the look of his green ford truck, so that obviously means it gets destroyed. or the FJ62 in Next, or the 2002 in Hancock, or the Ateam van for sure, or really it seems like any rareish car that ends up on film gets desroyed regardless of contribution to plot.

But I think most of the damage to it was bolt-ons.
Movies and shows that total cars that were new when the movie was made don't bother me as much as contemporary movies destroying old cars for the sake of destroying old cars.
Eleanor gets "reborn" in the original movie, though.
