She knows what she's dealing with so if she needs me to add something to my calendar she either tells me or texts me and I pencil it in right away.

I do understand that I am a dinosaur. When I go to meetings there seems to be a cut off right around my age, 41, between people taking notes on paper and on some kind of device. I have an iPad and I love it for a lot of things but I am much more comfortable with paper and pen.

True... I still use paper and pen for meeting notes. And then scan them and upload them onto the network... Which annoys me.

Part of the reason I want a 8x11 tablet is so I can load PDF drawings on it for work, sketch notes directly onto the PDF when I'm doing site surveys, then upload the sketches to the network when I get back.

Clean. Simple. No reams of paper to deal with.

In the engineering world we definitely use less paper than we used to, but I can still see room for improvement.
