1990 Mazda B2200i. We lived in Hawaii.
First new car I drove was my parents car. An 81 Pontiac LeMans. I learned to drive on it. First new car I bought was an 88 Dodge Aries.
I think it was a 1994 B4C Camaro in late 1993. It was on a test drive, car got sideways right off the bat, bit and launched hard with 3 people in it. I had already been driving rwd V8 cars for a while, so the salesman was shocked that this 17 year old kid knew how to handle that car.
I didn't get my first NEW car until December 1999, my 2000 Sonoma reg cab stepside.
A 1974 charger Se 318 in burnt sienna bought new by my dad in late 73. I sat on his lap and steered it home from the dealership.
11 yrs later I bought it from him for 800. It was my third car. I was only 17.
My dad & I bought a new Jeep Cherokee in 1977. Drove it on the beach before I got my license. I guess the first one I drove on the street was my 1983 Prelude.
I ended up renting a 2005 Stealth Yellow Ford Escape once. I didn't realize how new it was until they pulled it up for me, and it had all of 1 (one) mile on the OD. I put 399 more on it that weekend. I had fun in it.
Kinda like this one.
My mother's '93 Dodge Intrepid. Her previous new car was an '85 Subaru but it was already a few years old by the time I got my license.
The next new car I drove after that was an '02 TDI sedan that I test drove at a dealer a few months prior to ordering my current '03 wagon.

I can't think of a better ride to take the family out on a couple hundred mile tour through the country side on a sunday in.
BTW, this car had 205K miles when he traded it in. Brakes, exhausts and the notorious water pump... heads were never off the engine.
Kinda unheard of for the time.

I eventually bought my dad's '71 Catalina and drove it to around 160k, it still ran very strong but rust finally did it in.
First new car I drove was the first new car I bought. A 1982 1/2 Datsun/Nissan Sentra. It had Datsun on the left side of the trunk lid and Nissan on the right side of the trunk lid. That was the year Datsun changed to Nissan.
1973 Buick Regal that I used for my drivers license test. Big block motor and a really bad nose lift at speed but I could make the 400 mile trip to MSU from east tennessee is just over 5hrs. Funny thing is it got much better mileage than the '76 Grand Prix that replaced it. Damn GP only had a 305ci motor and it couldnt get out of its own shadow. I really miss those big block buicks that my parents owned in my youth.
Please don't laugh at me, but the first new car I remember driving, and not all that well, was either a Pinto Squire wagon or the car I bought new without ever having driven one: my Vega Panel Express. Both cars were '72s. My folks didn't have a brand new car at the time I started drivng and wouldn't get one until I left home...and I don't think those 2 events are all that related.
1979 Zephyr wagon. My dad had a car allowance, and it was (he said) the best of all the options. He got it in September 78 and I put it in a guard rail before the 79 new year. After the lease was over, my mom got it, and it turned out to be a very good car.
Just like this beauty
Blue 1984 CRX. Almost 19 years old, got my Dad to go to the dealer with me as I was planning to purchase if I liked it. Loved the car, but they wouldn't budge on the $2500 ADM. I surprised the E36 M3 out of my old man when I told him to get up since we were leaving without buying.
I bought a new base Nissan PU the next week and the Honda dealership had sold the CRX for the price they quoted me.

1978 Grand Marque. My dad bought it a couple weeks before my senior prom. I think I was the only guy there that didn't rent his car.
Almost every new Volvo that came through Automobil Technik in the early 80s, but that probably doesn't count. Mom had a 76 Cutlass when I got my licence in 76, but it wasn't brand new...my brother had a new 78 Dodge Club Cab pickup, and I would have driven that on the farm a bit, but I guess my 82 Z28 would make the official list.
Newest I have ever had was 1 year old, 30k miles. I test drove a used focus, but was denied a car loan.
I've never owned a new car but I'd say whatever the school board used for the high school driver training when I got my licence in '89.
2011 Ram 1500 Express - had 4 miles on the ODO when I drove her home. Has 4200 now.
Looks just like this:
I paid $21k out the door. Cheapest vehicle to get the 390hp HEMI. It's fun to drive for a truck...
