Kind of interesting. Popular musicians that died at an early age given the "age enhancement" treatment. I've wondered about a few of these folks myself.

I know it's "popular" musicians, but I have a very hard time when Cobain is lumped in with the likes of Hendrix, Joplin, etc. Cobain was in the right place at the right time. I don't (personally) find his music to be all that influential.
Ontopic- Elvis looks SUPER creeper in this.
Reality can be more cruel than fiction:

Those first 2 are a before they died of a meth overdose, arose from the dead a year later as a zombie, decomposed a bit, did WAY more meth, and died again, then the after shot, right?
Jagger and Richards are 70 years old, of course they don't look as good as they did when they were 20.

FTFY. Well, for me, anyway. Looks, voice, talent - nothing about that woman attracts me.
I got to the point that if I heard "One Wing Dove" or "Stand Back" again, I was going Bakersfield chimp at the radio station.
Debbie Harry, still has it. Joan Jett does too. I don't like Stevie Nicks, but actually find her MORE attractive now. That poodle on her head in the before is no bueno.

Yeah, that guess of what Elvis would look like is crazy!
(insert heavy dose of sarcasm here) (and sarcastic photo)

Proof that life is not fair.
How is this even possible after living like that?

I couldn't disagree more. Nirvana was responsible for re-defining the sound of mainstream rock for the following decade+. To say that music wasn't influential is just being contrarian.
Easily one of the most important bands in the past 25 years and I'm not even a massive fan. The whole grunge/alternative thing didn't blow up until the Teen Spirit video aired. Pearl Jam's "10" was languishing on the shelves for a few months before then and got kickstarted after Nevermind hit.

you must be old.
not all that influential = saved us from the hell that was hair metal and changed the face of rock forever(alongside pearl jam and soundgarden)
I remember "the hell that was hair metal".....that's back when musicians smiled and had fun instead of brooding and trying to squeal like a pig

I'm only 34- I was into Nirvana when they were hot. They were...good. But revolutionary? I don't neccesarily believe so. That's me though.
I think arguing over music is realllly stoopid. It's entirely subjective and personal, an artform that either communicates something to you, or doesn't.
