Oh, clear backs! The horrible trend of clear tail lights with clear bulbs.
and crazy front bumper covers with way too many winglets and fish lips.
and a fart can muffler hanging out of every kids car.

Detachable face radios, but you had to proudly carry around and display the radio face like a true baller.

Wow, some blasts from the past. I’ll likely rep Reynolds Racing, my friend’s BMX frame company. (Even if I’m going to behind the camera, figure I should look appropriate.)

Honestly the one he has is ever so slightly too new. The Nokia 3310 didn't come out til late 2000. As ubiquitous as they are now, it's hard to accurately remember the time frame of personal electronics like that...
Edit- from Wikipedia:
Cingular Wireless was created in 2000, by a joint venture of SBC Communications Inc. and the BellSouth Corporation[2] It operated under this name, as an AT&T competitor[3], until the AT&T buy out.
In reply to travellering :
I’m thinking that from afar–and likely just seeing the back–it looks enough like the 3210.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
Oh absolutely. Anyone old enough to remember them is old enough to question their memory anyway...

My bad, duh, it’s from school, so even older.
Anyone else remember pogs? R2’s been sitting here on my desk for a few decades. (But, no, he’s likely not making the trip with me.)
Shoot’s tomorrow and excited to see what people wear. I’m also realizing that my fashions haven’t really changed over the decades as it’s really just a matter of which Vans I wore.
I am bringing some vintage photo gear, though. :)
The old electronics were a hit! (That’s Rea with one of our old Nokias.)

Remember ALF?
While I also brought the Gameboy Color, I cannot take credit for Jazz’s rave-ready shades.
