Just a thought on what your EDC (every day carry) is?
Keys - front left
Wallet- back right
Cell phone - back left
Leatherman - right hip (belt loop)
I used to carry a clip knife but they shredded that pocket on all my jeans.
Going to start on my CCDW at the beginning of next year.
Left pocket: pocket knife and cell phone
right pocket: keys
left back pocket: wallet
right back pocket: empty mostly but may stuff receipts there
Daily I pocket carry:
wallet , vehicle key for whatever I'm driving that day, separate set of keys with work, home, etc., a cell phone, and some sort of easy open clip pocket knife. These days I often carry a concealed pistol in an itwb holster as well, depending on what I'm doing that day.
I'm not much of an EDC person, but I do like the goodies coming out of the EDC/first response camps. I use a key holder that's like a pocket knife and a nice thin kydex card holding wallet. But it's more of a use less pocket space than make room for more gadgets thought process.
I can also carry more goodies in my hi vis work vest thanks to the evolution of EDC goodies. Flashlights have come a long way since I started needing one in my work kit. Same with phone cameras - I don't need an additional camera in my kit
No CC or OC in my region for non-LEO folks.
Last couple employers have precluded EDC for me, but my pants have 12 pockets and there is stuff in every pocket. It is a long list with redundancies for additional options.

I moved my wallet from my left-rear to my left-front pocket about a decade ago and my back has thanked me for it.
Right front pocket: Phone
left front pocket: keys, knife, flashlight
right rear pocket: wallet
Belt: gun
Left front pocket: house keys
Left rear is phone and mask
Right rear is wallet
Right front is car keys and pocket knife and change.
In waistband holster near right rear pocket
Keys - belt clip left side.
Edit to add: Phone - belt holster, left side.
Wallet - back left.
Cash, #3 screw tip, 3/8" driver tip, Chapstick - Front left.
Streamlight Protac HL flashlight - Holster, right side.
Gerber Diesel multitool - Holster right side.
I have limited sense of touch in my right hand so the right side pockets are empty.

I split my wallet into two thin wallets, one on each side. Both are thin enough that I don't end up sitting on either.
Keys
Wallet
Phone
Kershaw
1911 or CZ depending on the destination (Neither fit in a pocket)
Right rear: wallet
Right front: phone
Left front: keys
Left hip: Gerber multi tool
Left rear: clip knife
Concealed piece in small of back holster but I don't carry often. It rarely seems necessary and my smallest firearm is a Taurus .40 Work doesn't allow carry of any sort anyway, but I should get something LCP sized for easier concealment while out and about..

Left front: cell phone
Right front: garage keys
That's it. I work from home, in an office in my garage. There's time I go a week without even picking up my wallet.

Funny thing about my LCP, hides in any pocket, he'll it hides in my hand, but due to its size, it's actually hard to hold and aim well. My pinky and half my ring finger fold under the bottom of it.
Anyway
Front right, keys, knife, LCP if carrying
Front left cash
Back right walwallet
Back left bandana mask and receipts.
Small of back, P97D if carrying that.
Keeping the wallet as id and credit cards really cut down on the back pain too.
Shirt pocket, smokes lighter pen.

Typically nothing but at work I keep a small LED flashlight in my right pocket because I can’t see E36 M3 anymore.
I don’t like to carry anything in my pockets so the idea of cargo pants is absurd to me
Left front=wallet
Right front=phone and keys
Thats it.
If I'm at work I am wearing a shop apron and the chest pocket will have a pen light, a 6 inch ruler and a sharpie.
Keys, phone, wallet, car keys, shopping list, whatever tool I was using last, 10mm socket, at least one frog, slingshot....
If I went through all my coats I bet I would find a dozen 10mm sockets and wrenches

LF: keys
RF: biz cards, challenge coin, piece of paper with notes of stuff to do later, 2 flashdrives
LR: empty
RR: wallet, comb
I just carry my phone in my pocket. My phone has a debit card and my military ID in the case. Other than that, my keys hangs off my belt loop.
I've never carried a pocket knife or multi-tool.
I used to conceal carry but I stopped simply out of laziness lol. My jiu-jitsu and martial arts are still sharp though lol.
I hate having things in my pocket or clipped to my belt, especially while sitting down. I almost never carry my wallet anymore.

I did it 3 years ago and same.
Only carry a phone and a wallet. Daily Driver uses a credit card key so thats in the wallet. Work ID for the doors in my wallet. House is all keypad entry, best thing I ever did.
Keys, small victorinox Swiss army, curio 3.5" serrated clip, wallet, 3" 1911 and spare mag. Sone are either on me or in my backpack that is always with me. Backpack also has small amount of first aid supplies, snacks, flashlight. Zip ties and cords and a bottle of water.
Work days:
keys, clip knife in right front.
Blistick, small bottle of hand cleaner, toenail clippers (for the elderly cats with ingrown claws and tiny puppies) in the left front.
Left cargo pocket: clamshell glasses case. Right cargo pocket: wallet, phone.
Scrub shirt pocket: pen, sharpie, highlighter, bandage scissors.
