It ain't just trucks, though the aftermarket truck wheels are pretty awful. Just about all OE wheels are hideous these days.
I was mostly thinking of aftermarket, not OE. Coincidentally, I just bought some new wheels for my truck. Almost had to go to steel to avoid wheels that looked like a Texan's oversized belt buckle.

This is the only alloy wheel that I know of that looks like it is stamped. Always thought they did so on purpose.

How about the other way around... alloy-looking steelies with covers, like the 2010ish Ford Fusion:

Or newish rams with 20" rims. Yep, those 5 spokes are caps.

it -is- stamped. Forged actually
You're supposed to think of one of these. They're all Jeepy and stuff.

As usual mercedes does stamped steel looking alloys best, in forged aluminum.
