Hot dogs lol.

Actually I have become quite addicted to Firehouse Subs' Hook & Ladder here recently.

Smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, and melted Monterey Jack, served Fully Involved. Fully Involved – Loaded complete with mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a kosher dill pickle on the side.

I love all sandwiches.

But Reuben is my favorite.

Or cubano.

Or Italian sub.

Or a burrito.

But really, you can't go wrong with a sandwich.

Hard to beat a good reuben but it’s one of those things that has to be a really good one or it’s not worth it.

Also, tuna melts are yummy.

Well, I'm in Tampa so the Cubans (and basically EVERYTHING ELSE) from Moreno's Bakery are high on the list.

When I'm in Tallahassee Po'Boys has good... well, po'boys.

If I'm cooking, I like the French Dips I posted here https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/food-porn-thread/140912/page10/

If I'm anywhere near there, Smithfield's pulled pork with some slaw on it https://www.instagram.com/p/B1Z3nwyBRN-YfnBGcEsod1YAZISB8Ox9kXCGeY0/

Mario's Deli in Addison, IL makes these 6' long subs and I get them at Christmas time for my customers and they love them.  It's too much meat for me but they always rave about them.

My dad was a deli clerk on LI for about thirty years. I loved when he'd make me a bologna and cheese on white with mayo. Nearly half a pound ofuper thin deli bologna (not the all beef stuff, the cheap stuff from Boar's head) and yellow american. I'd finish mowing lawns, head to the deli he worked at, grab a sandwich, an Entenmenn's frosted chocolate donut, a bag of Doritos, and a Welch's grape soda. He'd ask, "who's paying" and I'd say, "put it on your tab!"

Of course his deli breakfasts were awesome too: two eggs, sausage and cheese, saltpepperketchup, on a hard roll.

Yum

When I worked off Palm River Rd as an intern, on Fridays I'd stop at a local cuban place (https://chuchys-cafe-llc.business.site/) for a breakfast cuban.  Egg, cheese, extra bacon on cuban bread with some sort of sauce they'd put on it.  I'd get three, one for me, one for Brian, one for James, they'd pay me back when they got into work

Shortly after I left my internship, Brian got in a car accident and was killed.  I still try and get by there for a sandwich when I can.

I love.a good deli sandwich so much of the country seems deprived of good delis.  I used to go to work on my dad's 7up truck whenever school was out and he'd lay out his day on where he and his helper wanted to get lunch.  My favorite was when they wanted Italian. We stopped at this Italian deli/grocery in Elmont that made a great Chicken Parmesan hero.  It was probably a pound and a half and they'd throw in a bunch of little cookies they baked in the bakery next door.

Reuben.

None of that sissy mayonnaise either. Proper Dijon mustard only.

Classic Italian Hoagie works for me every time. The best come from White House in Atlantic City.

Close second would be a Cheesesteak; grilled onions & provolone is my go to. This is a contentious issue, but I declare Jim's on South Street to be best in Philly. Honestly, Voltaco's in Ocean City, NJ is superior but a little out of the way...

Hard to beat a Long Island sandwich. We had a deli down the street from the bike shop: ham, egg and cheese for breakfast. They had a drive-thru, too, like a Dairy Barn.

My wife would probably go with a Lobster Roll as long as it is traditional, simple and (obviously) Maine lobsters. Legal Seafood does a decent enough job for a generic chain place.

the mortadella combo from delallos with onions. Ham, capicola, mortodella, onions, on a pepperoni roll.

I love a good fish sandwich, but they're getting harder and harder to find. People keep suggesting places and they're always soggy, or not breaded properly, or fish sticks, or bad buns.

There's a burger joint in town that has a Sicilian burger I want to try. 2 pieces of pizza with a burger in between.

I will say this KFC donut chicken sandwich was a lot better than it had any right to be.
