When I met Mrs. P I didn't own a TV. That changed quickly.
TV is not important to me and there's very little I want to watch. But when I sit down later in the evening, usually after coming in from the shop, we watch old TV shows. There's a local channel that shows predominantly stuff from the 60's and 70's and that's pretty much all I watch. Because they show an episode each day the entire run goes pretty quickly. Currently they're showing
Soap - A classic that I actually really enjoy
Andy Griffith - way better than I'd remembered
I can't remember the rest.
I don't watch any automotive related TV
Right now- Still Game. A BBC show about to two old geezers in Scotland

I'll run through about 20 episodes over a 5 day stretch, about once a year. It really was a great show, if only to escape to a utopia that never existed.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one! +1
I've been struggling to get through season 2. I think I'm on episode 3, and have tried to start it 4 times and failed. Does it get better?

I forgot to include "2 and a half men", but only episodes with Charlie.

^This, the Ashton Kutcher episodes are awful.. They really should have ended the show after Charlie left. Family Feud is my after-work narcotic these days..
In reply to mtn :
I haven't had a chance to see season 2 yet
Santa Clarita Diet - because of premise and Drew Barrymore
Dead to Me - because of premise and Christina Applegate
Family Guy - because there's some Peter Griffin in me.
Two and a Half Men - because there's some Charlie Sheen in me.
How the Universe Works - because of topic.
Through the Wormhole - because of topic and Morgan Freeman.
MythBusters - because of topic and Adam Savage / Kari Byron.

Right now it's Ozark. Prior to that it was Shameless. Neither one is safe for work or family.
Yeah, I guess I kinda enjoy watching total train wrecks!

I loved the early seasons of Shameless. Some of the best TV I had seen. Though I couldn't stand how bad most of the Chicago accents were.
It's on YouTube, but TaskMaster (British Game Show)- Premise: Greg Davies is the `Taskmaster' in this game show that challenges the wit and wisdom of five celebrities, who are all putting their reputations on the line. Sidekick Alex Horne assists Davies in setting up unique and ridiculous tasks for the competitors, which include painting a picture of a horse whilst riding a horse, and making a portrait of a celebrity using only toilet rolls. The competition is further fueled by the fact that the prize pot is made up of each person's personal possessions, which they will lose to the overall winner.
It's really amazing to see how people tackle the same task in different manners.

I agree. They were incredible.
I started the last season and wasn't impressed.
Oak Island too, and I'm the first to admit it's more of a show about nothing than Seinfeld. But I can't get enough of it.
Another up-vote for Legends of Tomorrow. The first 2 seasons were E36 M3 but once they embraced the silly it got good. It's quite severely underrated.
Doom Patrol is also quite enjoyable
Wheel of Fortune
North Woods Law / Lone Star Law
Pit Bulls and Paroles
Diners Drive-ins and Dives
Restaurant Impossible
Gilligan's Island. No joke. Probably mostly because we watched it when we were little but for me the simple, mindless stupidity of that show really holds up. YMMV.
Since I saw Wheel mentioned above. Whenever I see Pat Sajak and Vanna White up there doing that show, I am transported back to my college days, when I shared an apartment with two other students. It was kind of our most-days-of-the-week ritual that we would eat dinner in front of the tv watching Wheel back to back with Trebek and Jeopardy. The year was 1983. Dang, I'm getting old. Can't believe those two are still at it. Heck, they buried Trebek.
I've got two types of shows. Ones that I watch, and ones that are just noise in the background while I do other stuff. Grew up in the '70's and '80's, so it feels weird to me to not have a TV on in the house. I've noticed that there's really not much I watch every week like in the old days. I usually just binge stuff over the course of a week or so. Unless it's only released over time, then I'll either wait until it's all available or just suffer through watching weekly.
Watching:
- Ted Lasso
- Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
- Yellowstone (wife I just binged it)
- Better Call Saul
- Ozark
- The Repair Shop
Noise:
- MASH
- Cheers
- Seinfeld
- Fraiser (looking forward to the continuation this year)
- Futurama
- Fringe

We DVR jeopardy and watch it during/after dinner depending on what's on the calendar for a given day.
I thought of one.
There's a Canadian show called Mayday, about plane crashes and incidents. I know little to nothing about aircraft, but I've flown a lot, and I find this show fascinating and very well done. If it's on, I'll watch it.
Letterkenny, but I find it hard to get through giving it anything less than you're total attention. Miss too much of the stuff flying by otherwise.
Mysterys of the abandoned.
impossible engineering
if it's on food network or cooking channel I'm watching.
Great to see someone else likes Still Game.
For me:
