5-9 inches coming down 50 mph wind gusts. It's happy time.
I get to slide around at and past the limits of traction without speeding ( too much )

The average schumck is driving around at 5 mph with great big long lines of backed up traffic. But get off the main roads and there are a lot of windy hilly roads that in this weather are all sorts of fun!!!

Every time it snows while I'm at work, I prepare for a 3-5 hour drive home. For some reason it takes up to an hour and a half to get out of this industrial park. Not looking forward to that, but there are so many fewer people working from the offices out here, it might be manageable this year.

They might get some snow in north Georgia on Christmas, but it looks like down here we just get rain on Christmas Eve. Wet and cold is South Georgia Christmas weather though.

I feel that. In related news, we're supposed to get a reptile-dropper of a cold front on Christmas. Looks like grilled iguana's on the SoFla holiday menu!

It was 42 degrees F at 7am today in Minneapolis, it's supposed to go down to around -3F tonight.  As a result the precipitation started out as rain, so there's a layer of ice underneath the snow that's coming down now.  I went out and tried to clear the front sidewalks a while ago, but it wasn't very fruitful.

It's 1 degree to the good right now on the way to owing me 2 degrees.  Right now with wind chill it owes me 17 degrees ( if I were outside )

Actually SWMBO  has it at 73 ( She's a diabetic and that feels chilly to her )  but I wear T shirts and go barefoot even down in the shop.
They say we got 8 inches  but doesn't look like it in the dark.
