Setting the record for top speed in the Disneyworld parking lot?
Or banding together with 10-20 SCCA regions to set up the world's longest, most unsanctioned, illegal autocross. Ever seen a 38 minute long run get FTD?!?
If I lived within 200 miles of Orlando, I would be Floridaman right now...

As long as you stay 6 feet away from everyone else, I don't see a problem with this.
If you figure out how, ill figure out how to get there with the miata

I only have about 30 cones to bring to the party. If 3500+ cones can be sourced, i'd make the trip down.
Realistically I think 12-15k cones would honestly be needed and the orange and white plastic interlocking plastic wall barriers would probably help break up sightlines to that sections are intervertantly crossed over and into.
I was just considering similar earlier this week.
Local "industrial park/office park". No formal security other than municipal police. One way in, out. Seems like it would be easy to post a spotter at the entrance while others ran the "circuit " on the other parts.
Most the businesses seemed to be closed.
I'm thinking about how much Disney loves money, and they're doing alright with Disney+ right now, but the parks aren't making money. If it we're possible for timing and scoring to be done with those doing in not within 6ft of each other and the broadcast rights were given to Disney to broadcast on ESPN, I wonder if they'd actually consider renting out the lot. All participants sign a waiver
I wonder how many cars would experience overheating problems.
That coursewalk though...
In reply to ProDarwin :
No course walk, a low speed, 2 lap course parade. Tire selection would be interesting. Traditional autocross R compounds would likely overheat, while R compound track rubber wouldn't be up to temp for the first 1/3 of a run.
Wow! Any idea on scale width x length of all those lots? That would be crazy fun!

Slightly better pic. Its the Magic Kingdom parking lot. If you look at the bottom left of this pic it has a scale.
Personally, I think the Epcot or Animal Kingdom parking lots would be better as they aren't quite as broken up as MK

the orange box is 2.42 kilometer, the longest orange line is over 700 meters. I didn't run the full width, but there's some acreage there. ![](https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/prod.mm.com/uploads/2020/03/30/1585596953_screenshot_20200330-153306_mmthumb.png)
I'm running the course in a tram, sorry course workers!
Have they demo'd the parts of the speedway? If not could work in a lap on that, just make sure you're going the right way.
We did an SCCA Divisional in the EPCOT parking lot back in the mid-90s. I designed the course. Pretty darn fun having such a big canvas to paint on.

Getting on property won't be easy. Lots of security- and not a whole lot else to do. I get the sense that 700 E36 M3ty Honda's and miatas on slicks would Garner some attention.

Long gone. It's all parking lot now.
In reply to Mndsm :
I'll tell them we race with Neegan. We'll pay them off with Toyo Bucks.
You need to design it like a Blues Brothers movie , everyone needs to drive a big 4 door sedan painted black and white ,
If anyone asks its Police drivers training.........

I'll bring the tow pig. They'll never see it coming. And if we have to split they will never suspect I was with you guys.
Disney will rent a parking lot, but the prices they've floated have been much, much more than what the local clubs normally pay for a day of autocross.
Security at Disney are not rent-a-cops. When Disney cut the deal with the State of Florida back in the 70's they were allowed to create a special taxing district, in effect becoming their own city. Their security are real deal police officers with all the arrest powers etc. OBTW, the place is blanketed with cameras. Probably tightest security on the planet.
All that said... granting them filming rights, etc... they may play.
They were willing to play in the 90s...
