I'm looking at a Ford wagon and thinking of doing something similar. Hard to hang a clutch pedal where there never was one? Does putting in a stick effect cruise control if it had it? How was it lifted, new tougher springs or spacers?
Enquiring minds want to know....
Thanks, Dan
Which Ford wagon are you looking at?
Early 80s LTD woody with a 302. What gives Mustang its distinctive exhaust note?

5.0 HO has a different firing order than your garden variety 5.0. Other than that, get some decent long tube headers, Flowmaster 40 series mufflers, and 2.5" dual exhaust with an X pipe. Yo VIP, the 90s are back!
This is what I WAS watching. Too many irons on the fire right now. Car was up with a $3500 Buy it Now, no takers. Now at $2500 BIN and $1500 opener. I was going to bid $1555.55 one minute before closing and see how it goes.
5.0 automatic, wood, 79.000 miles.

Back when I had my 91' I did the fully 'HO Swap' with cast-off stock mustang parts to get the bump from 150hp to 225hp. That particular car is a carbed 79' so power would be a bit different, but a T5 happens to be exactly the same length as an AOD(4spd) as long as it doesn't have a C4 (3spd). In the exhaust department, you can again use fox body mustang headers and H-pipe or X-pipes and run custom pipes over the axles. My car had waaay more bark than bite, but it was still a lot of fun.
Really surprised this didn't sell. Am I missing something? It's junk and I'm not seeing it?
That Ford wagon does seem pretty cheap, I'm curious too why it hasn't sold. It looks nice in the photos.
I've wondered how hard it would be to swap a complete frame from a 2003 or newer Panther into those older full size Fords - getting all the updated suspension bits and drivetrain would be nice.
It probably hasn't sold because it's on Martha's Vineyard. Well, according to the ad on Facebook Marketplace, it is. Checking it out in person, as well as shipping it from the island to the mainland, are probably driving people away. That said, it doesn't look too bad.
Emailing the seller, he says it's at a buddy's shop in Falmouth, Mass.
