Who's headed where?
For once I'm not traveling up or down the East Coast for Thanksgiving. Instead will be blissfully full of processed foods and spending time with my wonderful family.
You guys be safe on the highways and byways. Happy Thanksgiving too.

I'll be traveling early Friday morning and then late Sunday night, from the middle of Illinois to Chicagoland and back. Hopefully with those travel days it won't be too bad out there

DC to Charlotte tomorrow, then back on Sunday. We're leaving by lunchtime, any later will be chaos, especially with a "wintry mix" coming down.
Anyone who isn't aware...the northeast coast from VA to points north is expected to get some kind of snow, ice, rain event tomorrow.

Weds? Well... I'm travelling to/from work. Hopefully the weather doesn't make it any worse than it normally is. On Thanksgiving, I'm having dinner at my house for a change. Then afterwards I'm going to a friend's house to watch the Cowboys/Eagles game. Friday- hopefully a bike ride with some teammates up in Allentown (weather pending...).

Leaving tomorrow to spend Thanksgiving with the out-laws in lovely Canton, OH.
My son flies in tomorrow - Irvine, CA to Chicago O'Hare airport. "Dad; Pick me up at 11:00pm, Wednesday".
He should see about a 55 degree drop tomorrow.
Flying, Atlanta to Kansas City. It'll be well past dark, so I'll be watching for the fires of Ferguson on my way over.

Not sure if it counts but after work tomorrow I'll be driving from Tuscaloosa to the Birmingham area. Don't know if I'd call it "traveling."
I'll be travelling from my couch to the fridge several times on Thursday.
This is our first holiday in Atlanta, and we have no family here at all. They're all in NJ. Way too expensive to fly back this weekend, we're going next weekend. So for Thursday, thankfully my wife is an NFL fan too. Plan to spend the day playing with my kids and watching 9 hours of football. While I will honestly miss some parts of being with my wife's family, I can honestly say...
Best. Thanksgiving. EVER.

Charlotte (Statesville) is my usual destination. With the addition of babies, we stay off the high mountains of West Virginia to avoid the snow/ice that always seems to coincide with our travels.
In reply to Klayfish:
Staying home for a change is something to be thankful for in and of itself. *Raises glass
I'm traveling to work. Then back to home.
500+ miles tomorrow towards SE PA. Leaving at 4 a.m. to try and beat most of the storm.

I will also be traveling to and from work tomorrow. Thursday and Friday as well.
Ugh. Lexington to Wisconsin Rapids- 10 hours of driving, will probably take us closer to 12 hours total. Never a fun drive, and it's supposed to be quite cold the whole time we're there...
To work and back, Thursday is a different story though.

DD#1 is going from the Philly region down to Baltimore and back tomorrow. Guess I have to take the Star Specs off her car and install the Michelin all-seasons. Tonight.
Traveling to the office to work, but staying in town. My daughter is coming in from WV (hopefully) with the two grandsons.
Thursday we had to Chapin for turkey with the in-laws.
Saturday we go to the Clemson-Carolina game. I'd rather stay home and pick up leaves.

For an added twist, the dealership in alexandria is replacing the ecu on the gf's g35 sedan tomorrow and we're leaving straight from there. Here's hoping they get it done on time and don't berkeley up anything in the process. The potential for mass fail tomorrow is high :(
Safe travels to everyone and especially thanks to people like Wally who're working to keep things going for everyone on the holiday!

Driving from DC to western Massachusetts tomorrow, via I-83/I-81/I-84/Taconic. In light of the forecast I'm trying to convince the wife to move departure to the wee hours of the morning so we're pretty much at our destination by the time the big snow should be happening, but she's resisting. Sanity will prevail.
