Had a guy ask me today, for a 100psi propane regulator. Now, I'm fairly smart, but I could not figure out what he was doing with it. He didn't give me a lot to go on, all I knew was we didn't have it. So....
Why does someone need 100psi out of propane?

To run a burner for a forge.

I use one in my powder coating oven but I never need that kind of pressure.

As long as I either - get to claim total loss and get all new E36 M3 or b- it doesn't affect me, I'm right there.
Whatever he is using it for, it's in a fairly warm environment, because 100psi comes at about 65*F. Just a guess, but I figure his requirement is based off a fundamental misunderstanding of how propane works.
Or maybe its just me.
Perhaps he is building a jet-powered beer cooler.
Usually, when I need that much heat, I pull it straight off the bottle with no regulator.
I fear I am usually this guy when I go into the local Ace and have to ask for something.
Probably needs it to add more fuel to his diesel for the dyno pull.
He's dyslexic and wanted 10 psi?
Bet he has a spider problem.
