Roku + Plex = great.
I used to be a big fan of Boxee, but it is not really usable anymore. All their resources go to the Boxee Box.
XBMC just isn't a good enough replacement.
You're speaking a language I can't even begin to comprehend. And I'm not even a Luddite.
Duke, just buy a roku box and a subscription to plex/netflix/amazon prime.
I've been cable free for years.

Just more brainwashing to produce a consumer culture. No thanks. I cancelled my cable 15 years ago for the same reason – TV is nothing but ads with a bit of programming between.
I have a 30yr career in radio and television..and I approve this message. I used to feel guilty, but then my brother-in-law reminded me that I grew up a Punk, and I should rejoice in using the carcass of society for sustenance.

That's how we build cars around here, too.
Remember these are the same people that think removing all tactile feedback from the controls in a car is a good way to simply things. Buttons are very very expensive apparently.
I'm waiting for them to say "We'll make the first payment on your new car if you get the ad service." I want to see how many people take them up on it.

AT&T does 4g different tech
All the more reason to keep my old van running. I wonder if the aftermarket will come up with products to defeat this kind of thing. If there's a market of people with a demand and spending cash (which I would assume they have, since it's a new car purchase) someone will sell something.

AT&T and TMobile both used HSPA+ initially for their 4G, but now both use LTE in addition to HSPA+. TMobile is just now turning on LTE though.
Sprint's first "4G" was WiMax, but it too switched to LTE.
