Does anyone still have a VCR? I found these this morning digging for some Hot Wheels for a buddy. Standard Domination was one of the best BMX videos I had ever seen and I had seen them all when it came out late 90's(?) early 00's. I had been out street riding downtown Davenport when Rick and his crew showed up to tape so I rode with them, I afterward bought the frame he is riding in the video from Goodtimes and rode it for YEARS.

not sure why these six were where they were but I have a huge box of BMX VHS in the basement....but no VCR

You can probably buy a VCR in any Goodwill or Restore for 10 bucks.

Awesome. Reminded me of the old "road fools" videos we used to watch at my bmx buddies house as kids. Available on a more recent format.

I found a box of old vhs home movies from my childhood the other day and ordered a VCR online. I couldn't believe what people were asking for refurb'd or "newer" units. Crazy.

A quick bit of Google-fu turned up an Ion VCR-2-PC VHS player that connects to a PC. New from Walmart for $295 or used on eBay for under $100. I can imagine a lot of folks buy one, convert their old tapes to digital (and burn to DVD?) and then sell the unit.
Be careful about putting tapes in random VCRs, often old and damaged and/ or dirty VCRs are what ruin perfectly good old tapes.

Finding the videos online is always the best first step before going to any trouble to digitize/play a commercially available VHS.
