Looks like Pine to me, but its not southern white pine is it?

Its 3.25" wide and we need to replace some that were filler pieces that were in a closet but now in the open room.

Any ideas?

Looks like Longleaf Pine.  Pinus palustris.  Sometimes called “Heart Pine”.

But it’s old growth material. May be hard to match in color, density, or grain.

Reuse stuff from less conspicuous areas (like closets) to patch more visible stuff, then put new stuff in those less obvious areas.

There are vendors who sell salvaged old growth timber and flooring.  They will call it Heart Pine.
