I think its rather funny that some people really care how I respond to other peoples trends and car stuff or whatever. Why is it so important for you to get upset about it? Its not like I am holding people back from doing what they want. They are enjoying their car and I am enjoying their car but in a different manner. So why get bent out of shape over it? Are you the morality police or something?
I hope if you see a bad movie you don't criticize it, say it was stupid, or anything like that. Just hold it in and say well, they enjoyed making it, that's what counts. Come on guys, lighten up.

I agree. I have the stance crowd always asking me why i "ride 4x4 status" and "omg bro holy wheel gap", why cant i do the same in return? Say something like "oh, how was your ride into work? Nice and slow because you are scared of ripping your oil pan off and have to hold up traffic for 10 minutes while you navigate over a speedbump?" I think its only fair

Donks hold one thing for me. If done right, the paint work is INCREDIBLE. Like colors and candys and fades and things you will not see anywhere else. I'm a sucker for good paint work.
I'll maintain that lowriders do it better.

I must be a sick and twisted individual because I actually think that's kind of a cool idea, aside from them advertising that you can play with E36 M3 on a computer screen while you're supposed to be driving a car.
Sure they are fundamentally useless and showy, but think of all the fun you could have. Someone pisses you off in traffic, post a giant middle finger. Insult people with stupid body kits. I wonder if they will display gifs. I would totally mess with people with Strongbad or "Hater's Gonna Hate" or something.

Yea who likes wheels that aren't bent or tires that last more than 1000 miles!
Wow....lights on wheels! I'm waaaay behind on trends. My latest resto-mod RWA Spridget doesn't even have a radio or heater. And I chose old-school wheels and knave plates for a simple, basic look (below).
But if other folks like different stuff that's cool too. Whatever floats your boat.

Agreed! I remember talking about Autocross on a Focus forum, and someone asked for a pic of the car in action. I provided, and the first comment was "That needs a tint and a drop"

Why reserve the right to be rude and insulting? Why is that so important to you? It's not the mark of a mature adult, nor of a real car guy. It's not about liking or not liking something. It's about how you act when you like or dislike something. And it's not about being PC. It's about tact and common courtesy. Which WAY too many people these days are lacking.
It's good to like different things. It's bad to be insulting and rude about what you don't like in order to justify liking what you do like.
Chris V, proving points like no one else can since 1999!
