If this ain't a slice of retro, I don't know what is....
That's super cool. That is a super cool price too! That would be the bell of the ball at a small lake though.
My father could have told you everything you wanted to know about that, I'll wager. He grew up in cottage country when those would have been prowling the lakes. Very cool.
That thing looks so very much like a Pixar or Disney animated fish- I cannot express how familiar it looks.
That's one of the most desirable runabouts of that era, very cool.
In one photo it appears to have a period correct Mercury outboard on it, but the ad says it comes with a new 20hp electric outboard? For a boat like this I'd rather have the vintage motor.

Yeah the vintage mercury Kiekhaefer outboard makes the boat. Without it, all you have is a really cool boat that need a pile of batteries taken out and a period correct motor installed.
I don't have $40k burning a hole in my pocket, but I am confused by the photos of the center console and the dash. Throttle in wrong spot and bending off the dash insert?
Got $10k burning a hole in your pocket?
This one for $12.5k is about 30 miles from me if you need eyes.
