Yes, well, I also grew up in the age of New Coke, hair bands and Cabbage Patch kids, so it's all relative.
I dunno why some people are so negative on Roger Moore. Me thinks he gets an unfair shake because he had to replace a legend in Connery...a difficult task at best.

I get tired of the Roger Moore hate. The Spy who loved me, For your eyes only and Live and let die are great movies in their own right. Certainly better than Diamonds are forever, let's not even mention a Quantum of Solace.
He was a different Bond, not a better or worse Bond, just a different one.
I was only 4 when Live and let die came out so I saw it first on TV, it's still a great movie. I saw Moonrake, For your eyes only, OctoBob Costas and A view to a Kill at the cinema as an adolescent / teen and loved every one of them, they were all better than the unofficial Never say never again with Connery which was crap except for the Renault f turbo II.
Maybe you had to grow up with them, but they stand up alongside many other movies of their time.
I agree with the p71 content. One of the few times I don't think a manual would be better. Missed shift = death. And that's an auto that's been designed for that kind of driving.
Runners up would be any other police issue vehicle.
I'd vote for my supermoto. Light, nimble, quick acceleration, fits in tiny spaces, capable on many surfaces, impervious to curbs, and electric start for fast getaways.
And I ride it work.
If one is being chased by baddies, might as well have as much fun as possible along the way!

Even worse, I had to go back and read it again to understand what it was that made you laugh because I just automatically read it as if it were unfiltered.
No bikes. You're way to exposed perched on the back of one of those death machines.
What about if the baddies want you at night? Rain? E36M3tty weather? I can't believe that none of you see the obvious answer. Brought to you by Ronin and the Transporter. Big Audi S8. Power, control, and not giving way to a light bump from the baddies car/truck/APC.
I'll go with the bike idea. Specifically the Honda XL350 I used to have. And I did ride it to work almost every day for 2 years.
For baddies - id probably take the suburban option or a full size pickup. Can take the damage, can hop curbs, can eat the straights for breakfast too.
For cops - I'll take the invisible car. a 1997 Toyota camry in silver. Dirty. One missing hubcap.
For a classy challenge - I'll take any drop top lbc.
the before mentioned dual sports, but specifically a KTM 1190 Adventure, top speed 151 mph, 0-60 2.8 sec, 1/4 mile 10.6 seconds, it will curb hop go just about anywhere a dirt bike will with the speed of a 600cc sport bike.
but if we need to work with 4 wheels and keep it off the show room floor
In reply to Flight Service:
A raptor with some chassis work, a plain paintjob, and a work trim F-150 grille is basically what I'm thinking.
In reply to Kenny_McCormic:
Yeah the Raptor is a though package for a stock vehicle, and to get it to look plain just order it with the mud sling graphics deleted.
Let's see...needs to be strong enough to crash through road blocks. Should be fixable with parts from any parts store or junkyard. Plus if it's V8 and you can hide all manner of huge blower or something under the hood. Lots of interior room so your partner has space to sling the bazooka around and shoot it out the windows. Okay, so it won't handle well. Meh. I'll just ram my way through buildings, road blocks and zombies.

I'd agree with but then we would both be wrong. With the exception of Live and Let Die, they were pretty much E36 M3 IMHO.
