I went to jail in Bluefield once.
My niece is at wvu.
Thats about all i know about west Virginia, but the east coast has a completely different vibe than nevada. Hope it works better for you over here.

Noyoudon’t. What happens in Bluefield stays in Bluefield.
BoxHeadTim,
You still data analytics stuff, right? And your wife has some job where she can live anywhere?
I forget, are you two originally from back east someplace?
Carson City is nice. I'd have a hard time leaving there, I think.

I used to work on investment analytics software for a small company out here, but for the last few years I've been a roving consultant for a smaller database company so I mainly live in airports and hotels. I'm almost completely location independent as long as the home location has decent Internet access. My wife is a massage therapist who does a couple of specialised types of therapy and because of that, she hasn't really been able to find work out here - all the spas want essentially run-of-the-mill massage therapists with not much in the way of additional skills (because cheap). Oddly enough there is much more demand for her skills in the Baltimore/DC/Berkeley Springs triangle.
My wife is originally from the Pittsburgh area, although her parents moved the family to Florida when she was something like 5 or 6. Me, I'm from much further East (Germany via the UK).
The area around Carson City is nice, but especially my wife is getting fed up with the desert. And this was another year where the valleys filled up with smoke from the wildfires around us and curtailed activities during summer. As we don't ski, there isn't that much to do in winter.
