I have this hardtop rebuilt that I was going to use for rallycross. See This thread for details. This is the lightest weight hard top without a defrost or headliner.
Turns out that thanks to our changing climate, all the winter rallycrosses around here were cancelled. Since I'm going to focus on my track car anyway, I don't need this top.
How about $600 for a GRMer? OBO. If you guys don't want it, it goes on the marketplace for 8 :).
It will need some love in the cosmetics department, but I've repaired all the major structural issues and it seems sound enough. I've had it on my car for the past few weeks.

I can't believe no one has grabbed this.

Yeah, that is a great price. I love mine!
Thanks! I'm trying to be pretty fair to the GRM crowd, and reasonable when I post it elsewhere :)
I gotta say after a few weeks with it, I'm not a huge fan of having a hard top on my street car. I've driven Miatas without them for nearly 20 years, and this was the first one I had on a street car. Meh. I lost two days I could have had the top down!
On my track car, however, that's worth something like 3 mph! Oh yeah!
If Connecticut was a lot closer, or you were coming south.....
FYI, this will fit on any 1990-05. On a 2003-05, you'll need to change the front latches.

Right, thanks for pointing that out :)
I should have been more explicit in the ad.. I was targeting the fact that this is the lightest of the OEM tops, I didn't think to specify the range..

I already have one that's color matched to my car or I'd be interested! This is blasphemy, but I think the hard top makes the Miata a better car. And Rock Auto has the rolling hardtop stand available for about a hundred bucks if you're worried about how or where you'll store it!
I don't even have a Miata or plans to get one and I'm tempted.
If there is a reasonable way to get it to Cleveland I'm definitely interested but I don't think there is.
Through the wonders of GRM I have found a way but it would have to stay with you for a few months...
If that's a possibility, shoot me a text at two one six five three two six two zero three.
Hmm.. Unfortunately, I had already put it up on the bookfaces this afternoon. I have two people that say they can probably come tomorrow to get it. If that doesn't pan out, I'll get in touch and we can figure out a timeline for you.
Glad I didn't see this the other day or I'd be driving to CT right now
If it doesn't sell, shoot me a message.
Sorry gents, it was picked up tonight.

Find someone with a Miata, drive it out there, install hardtop, drive home?

Well I can find that someone in the mirror but I'm not sure that qualifies as reasonable for me. Another will pop up.
