Wow. Put a roll cage in it to stiffin it up and find one of those fiberglass 917 bodies for it. I think that Automobile Atlanta had some kind of 904 body kit that fit on a 914 that would work on that as well. To bad it's halfway across the world from me.
Now that is something I have never seen. Surprised it didn't fold when the body was cut off.
...or you can just weld in an off the shelf roll cage and some additional supports and make a death kart out of it.
So many possibilities.
Back in the 1970s , a German VW dealer " ARTZ" built a 914-6 chassis / VW Super Beetle body show car that was street legal in Germany,
Even better it had a 2.7 liter Carrera RS motor in it !
