it's literally never a bad idea to have C4 running gear around. I do like the later C4s, though, and was just admiring the one over on Jalopynik this morning. I knew when I saw Angry posting in this thread it was going to be a bad thing for me.

I can't tell you the number of times I've thought about it. I've got an 84 in my garage. Putting a 3900 north/south with a T-5 behind it would take a nice bit of weight out of it and have more power. No one ever wants to think about anything other than a v8 in them. Seems like it would be a better swap than an LS. Easier to work on it in that engine bay.

Oh, I'd be all about the 4L60. Might even be a bolt together swap if you can mix the back end of the 'Vette on the front end of a 4th gen F-body trans.

I have a 97 f-body w/ 6MT I could make somebody a deal on. Rust free southern car. I know, not quite a C4
