This is my old GT40 lower intake off my 351W Mustang. I swapped engines and sold the car back around the turn of the century. The intake has sat in a box in a hidden corner of the garage since then. A mouse did get in and build a nest above the splash plate, which has rusted. I've cleaned it multiple times with Simple Green, then mild bleach, Simple Green again, rinse, and repeat. Pressure washing between each stage.
The part has been port-matched and cleaned up, but not fully ported. I recall the car made just over 300hp and 350+lb/ft with a stock crate 351W engine inc stock iron GT40 heads and a Steeder '#19 cheater' cam. Pathetic in this day and age, but I was happy in the 90's!!
If you can find a new 351 GTO lower, it will set you back well over $1,000. Good used ones seem to start $600ish. Price at $450 to take into account the condition.
