Whoah, is that the 3 cylinder turbo? I would expect that to create quite the ruckus around here.
I fear I'm too stupid to figure out how to make DI work, but somebody can, I'm sure.
Good luck with sale.
Is this motor related to the Mazda/Ford 2.0/2.3/2.5?
In reply to wheelsmithy & Javelin :
It's the 1.6L 4-cyl Ecoboost.
Yep this is a 4cyl Ecoboost. 197hp 202ft lbs tq. As far as I know these are clean sheet designs, not related to anything else
I'd like to say the only thing they bolt up to are 1.5/1.6 transmissions, meaning front drive only.

this needs to end up in a festiva
In reply to Robbie :
Sorry no trans. I'll make you a great deal on it. I have no room to store it
I took a pic of the bolt pattern in case anyone is trying to figure out how difficult it would be to mate it to something else. We were contemplating an NA Miata trans. The size of the clutch looks similar & it protrudes far enough that an adapter plate could take up the extra distance between engine & trans.

Sorry guys, I'm out. Too many engine's sitting around already
I've got a 1979 Fiesta that I want to install this engine in. Just not ready to start on that project just yet.
It looks like the bellhousing might be shared by a flavor of Zetec not sold in the US?
