I went out and bought the 220v welder of my dreams and no longer need this one. I've had it for a couple years and have put several spools of flux core through it. It still works great even though it has a few little dents and scratches on the housing. Theoretically you can add a regulator and a bottle to do regular MIG welding, but I have no knowledge as to how exactly one does that. GRM price is $175 picked up in Erlanger, KY (just south of Cincinnati). Or trade for 75ft of 6/2 armored wire so I can use the new hotness!

Dang. Wish I was local as this is exactly what I need for building my exhaust. GLWS.
That is an excellent deal. Someone should snatch it up. GLWS.
Opinion: a 110 on gas may be better than a 220 for bodywork-definitely as good. Were I not already three welders deep, I'd pick it up on principle.

I can confirm that this does very well on exhaust! I built the turbo-back exhaust on the Neon with this and patched a couple others over the years.
The new box is 220 with gas and if it still burns through at its lowest setting, I can always switch it down to 110. Thanks for the heads-up on that!

Yeah seriously. Someone in Kentucky is gonna get a great deal.

A higher output welder should be more stable and weld better at lower settings than a smaller machine.
