I shoulda known the vultures would be there way before 9. I thought I was pushing it with 8:30. I was late. 

We got there around 10:30. Seems like every GRMer from Florida was there.  Nice to see everyone.

I was very sad to be out of town and miss this.

Thanks to Fladriver for dragging it out of the dirt and on to the trailer and MrLee for his excellent chipmunk styled head out the sunroof driving skills. It was nice to see all of you grm'ers.

Good luck with the MR2.  I hope your project works out, it sounds super cool.

Somehow I knew a picture of me with my head out the sunroof was going to make it to the internet...

Anyone know what parked this particular car?

I  bought it as a potential Challenge car but went with a different car (a Honda)  It ran when parked but poorly.  I hope it cleans up.  It sat there a good ten years without a look. 

What else did folks buy? It's fun to hear about!

I got a window net install kit for $1 but the best deal was admission was free to look at a bunch of cool cars .

I apparently just bought an aluminum 2.3 head with an unknown cam in it.  All while sitting in front of my computer in Michigan.  If closer I would have a Fox chassis roller and some other stuff too.

I hope it servers you well. It’s amazing how much lighter it is than stock. 

Do you have any idea what cam may be in this head?  Was it on a turbo car or circle track engine?  I'm hoping for a nice turbo style cam as it's going on a stock bottom end for road racing.

This head will get used before the end of this season.

I got it from a buddy that was a hardcore XR4Ti guy.  So it was on a 2.3 turbo. He drove the car to work so I’m sure the cam is an upgrade but streetable.
